This place was reccomended by a friend for freshwater fish and corals. I do not live far so i went to check it out. Only took me about 30 minutes drive time. First off, the place doesnt have a parking lot, and is located on a busy street in the ghetto. I had to park about 2 blocks away. As i enter the store with a broken glass door, i see that there is no employees in sight. So i walk to the first section of fish tanks, they have a few tanks full of dying or already almost fully dead coral for a high price. ok, i didnt really come here for coral anyway so i continue down the first isle. I notice that the fish have fairly cheap prices, but most of them are malnourished, and sickly looking. I even spotted ich in more than enough tanks to not make a purchase. There are broken fish tanks in every isle, not just 1 tank, but at least 3 or 4 broken tanks in each isle. the place isnt well lit, and the entire electrical system looks like a fire hazard. i spotted a few cock roaches, live running around, and about 5 or 6 dead ones in plain sight on the floor. From what i can see, the tanks are set on a system which means that ich can spread from tank to tank easily. the metal racks the tanks are on are very rusty and if you actually look in the tanks you can see rust and chipped paint in the gravel. after making a full loop in the store i finally spotted 1, yes only 1 employee. I asked him a few questions and he seemed to not really know much about the fish species he was selling or the potential sizes these animals can reach. I dont know who owns this place, but i cant see it being in business much longer if they dont make some serious changes. I almost feel like i would have gotten a disease if i stayed at this store any longer than i did. if youre in this area, i would recommend a short drive to Absolutely Fish, or Beitels Aquarium, both of those stores are clean and have a great selection with healthy well fed fish.

Decent place to buy fish, a good selection but the staff is not very helpful and misinformed. I went in there to look for some Otto catfish for my 10gal betta tank and the guy working there didnt know what I was talking about. After he consulted another staff he found out they dontnhave any. At this point he started recommending other fish that were all highly inappropriate at one point even suggesting a red tail catfish as a tankmate saying they dont get very big and suggested I put aggressive fish in with my betta since he is aggressive as well. I actually started laughing. Red tail catfish grow to over 4ft and min req 1000 gallons at full size. When i told him that he refuted my statement. I know he was just trying to help, but I found this quite disturbing as some people who might be looking for fish and not too educated on the subject might take his advice and purchase something highly inappropriate for their tank. Do your research before buying any fish. just because people work at a petshop, doesnt make them experts. Another experience was when I was looking for a fluval spec vv, I kept calling them and asking if they had them in stock and they would tell me days when the shipment would be coming in, I continued to call on those days and they said they would take my info and call me when they got it, weeks later and no call and I just bought it from Petco instead.

First off, I walked into this store and I explained to the employee I had a algae outbreak in my fish tank. I explained I had just cleaned out the tank, switched filters, and two weeks later more algae. So i asked him for algae fish. He explained this would most certainly fix problem. Which of course they ate all the algae in a day ! BUT what he failed to mention is that algae fish are aggressive ! I explained to the man that I had non aggressive small tropical fish. Not once did he mention it would be an issue. The fish were 5 for 12.99. At first only wanted to purchase two once he told me the price again i was convinced to buy all, hey the more the merrier i thought ! Well sadly I woke up and these mean fish killed all my other fish!! If your going to work in a Fish store you should be a little more educated in your field instead of trying to make more money on some one who is not familiar with all these types of fish. " what kind of fish do your currently have " is defiantly a question that should be asked before you gave me fish spawned from Satan. Never will use this store again.

What a disgusting store, their are dead cockroaches all over the floors, half the lighting on the tanks are bad, half the tanks are broken, half the fish have ich. I think its going under but I am not sure. What a crap hole, the owner was DRINKING mid day, the girl in the front was very unhelpful. The kid with all the tattoos smelled like PISS. Or maybe the whole store just smelt of piss and mold. I am sure, better stores out their like Absolutely fish in Clifton NJ and even Petco would be a better/cleaner option. I would rather just not have fish than shop here. My tank could get a sickness for sure.

The employee there was great however the selection was poor. Im guessing its because theyre remodeling (like the employee told me) but I wish there was as much as when they were fully stocked. Spoiler though, they will not be selling saltwater anymore, so youre left with a selection of freshwater giants, but mostly their wide variety of piranhas. Cant wait to see how the store will eventually turn out like. Also, prices are considerably fair. Water quality is amazing all-around.

Decent store. Nothing special. Not much of a selection unless you are into piranhas or stingrays. I asked one of the sales girls if they had brine shrimp eggs and she had no idea what I was talking about. So she asked another employee and he said no. 5 minutes later I found them hanging on the wall next to the fish food. I live 5 minutes from this place. Otherwise I would never go here.

The worst customer service ever, sold us a sick fish would not exchange for a healthy one.. have brought several fish before we are regular customer... had the fish for only 2 days... Matt "manager" was nothing but rude and disrespectful very arrogant young man... will never buy from them again so sad but wouldnt recommend for anyone to buy from there..

This place was the best aquatic pet store I have ever been too, they had great rare exotic fish fresh water and salt water. The staff was awesome, super helpful!!! I will only buy my fish from here from now on!!
