I bought a Jackson chameleon from them the other day, not because I was looking for another chameleon but because of the horrible condition I saw her in. I felt like I couldnt leave her there without any source of water or mist. Jackson chameleons need high humidity and they couldnt even provide her with a dripper. She was thin and dehydrated. I thought I could bring her back to life with the right environment. Needless to say, she passes away today due to kidney failure because of the extended period of time she went without water at oceans gallery. I am appalled by the way they neglected the animals in their care. Shape up Oceans, or ship out.

By far the best aquarium store Ive visited in the Tri-State area. Tons of fresh and saltwater fish (which Im addicted to). I picked up a Copperband Butterfly, which many will know is a tough fish to keep in captivity, after an employee showed me it would eat. `It was refreshing to deal with someone who understood my concerns as it pertained to this particular fish and was more than willing to assure me of its health. Its been thriving in my tank and ate all the apastasia! I highly recommend this store for all aquarium enthusiasts! My son also got a kick out of the snakes, although that is not my persuasion!

This is the best fish store. None of my fish/invertebrates have died, or been sick. The staff are also very knowledgable, every advice I got made my nano reef thrive. Not once have they ever tried to sell me something I dont need, even when I asked if it was necessary or if i can get away with it. I never had a tank that thrived so well. The staff is very patient as well. I spent like 15 minutes deciding between a urchin, coral banded shrimp and cleaner shrimp, they told me all the pros about them and answered all my questions.

We just got our Coralife BioCube last week from Gary and he has been amazing. Recommending only what we need and when we need it. Reminding us to be patient and what to do when really shows his love for what he does. The day after we got our tank we stopped in with some questions and he took his time walking with us around the store explaining different things to expect and what things we will need in the future. I highly recommend this place for anyone from the beginner to the seasoned reef tank owner! Gary is the best!

There are nice assistants there, but definitely not the short guy at the front desk. He was always sitting there reluctant to help customers while other coworkers were busy around. He was very rude and no patience at all to the customers. If you asked him a little bit more questions or concerns, he would respond with some words like "I am annoyed" "whats wrong with you". It is so disappointing that there is such kind of person in a supposed nice reef store.

I was so glad I found this store. I was looking for a 125-gallon tank for my 2 turtles and they got it. The price was reasonable and they delivered!!! That was my biggest worry as I do not own a pickup. Thank God for that. They delivered my tank in 2 days and my turtles are happy with this bigger tank. The staff, especially Eric was amazing, professional, helpful, friendly. It was a easy and smooth transaction, A++

When I first came here it was 5 stars but ever since its seems at the place is going down hill there supplies are overpriced its 3 dollars for a crusty dry dirty hermit crab sponge. There leopard geckos have skinny tails. They have 4 wild caught frogs and toads in a 10 gallon tank. The saddest thing I saw was a 8 inch fish in a 14 inch long tank. The customer service isnt even that good. Its a disappointment.

Hey everyone been going here for a long time now. This place is great and you will not be disappointed. The owner is very knowledgeable as well as his staff. Great selection of both salt and freshwater fish. The coral selection is awesome too. If your into reptiles they always have some unique things. So if your looking to start up a tank or even get a reptile this is the place to go.

I have been traveling to Ocean Gallery for many years because I have yet to find a store like this by me. There is a lot to know when keeping your fish happy and tanks clean and Ocean Gallerys staff is the most knowledgeable. They have the largest selection and always have the newest stuff to add to my collection.

I am are disgraced at how I saw fish come in from overseas and put directly into the saltwater tanks with no quarantine time inbetween. This is causing your customers expensive fish to die. Allowing them to take the fish and knowing you didnt take the proper steps. You are ruining peoples property!

This place is absolutely amazing!! I went in looking to buy a clown fish for my son as a birthday gift. Eric was the representative who helped me and it was nothing other than a pleasant experience. He answered all of my million questions and made me feel very comfortable with my purchase.

The only place I will go. Keeping a tank and or pond is an ongoing process that Ocean Gallery provides the support to keep a hobby like this so much fun. I dont have the time to research or tinker so I go to the store and they make it super easy.

The best tropical fish store in central NJ. The saltwater fish and coral collection is extensive and their display tanks are really nice to look at. Not a huge selection on dry goods but this is my go-to place for live goods.

Odor from second floor noticeable as soon as we walked in. Cages of rabbits stacked on top of one another. Employees talking never asked if we needed help. Left without much needed aquarium supplies
