I booked the Diana Ross concert months ago and as I figured it was a full house. Nobody jumped up in the preshow but when Diana came on stage everybody jumped up 0n their feet (no problem) but 15-20 minutes later they where still standing I can understand her start say 5 minutes but set back down so the people behind you can see. My problem is all the people in front of me (I sat in row x) stood up 80% of the time. No one in the place told them to set down So me and my wife got to see 20% of her show and listen to the music. The end when you want them to sing more I understand again. (the standing) I can say for sure we will never go back again.

I love going to the Orpheum. We went to see Jersey Boys and it was outstanding. There is an issue with the sound in the balcony however. I have never been to a musical and had balcony seats before but it was very difficult to hear up there. I will probably not attend future events there unless I can get seats on the floor. For the price you pay for balcony seats you should be able to hear the musical well and that is just not the case.

Had terrible tickets for the Lion King last year. Literally could not see. Prior to that we had never had a bad seat and was so disapointed that I brought family from out of state and they couldnt even see with the very tall set. Havent been back and probably wont because there is nothing worse than paying for an amazing show and missing the whole thing. :( Must get front row seats or it is a waste of money!!

Was here for a dance recital for my nieces. Very artistic/nice looking building and the recital was ran superbly. Unfortunately when my wife (expecting mother) asked if they had water, whether bottled or from a fountain, they didnt have either and told her shed have to walk blocks away to get it from a convenience store. It was 120 degrees with heat index that day. I dont know how this can even be legal...

Good theater. I was there for a recital. Staff was reserving seats and forcing people to move. Became confrontational after again requiring people to move. Probably very frustrating dealing with people but there was NOWHERE to sit and tickets where being sold. Eventually staff relented seeing there was no option. Probably owed somebody an apology.

Beautiful historic venue with great acoustics. This place screams class from its chandeliers to the marble architecture. Staff were helpful, friendly and professional. If you get the opportunity to see a rock show here dont hesitate to go, its legendary.

Beautiful space, great acoustics, comfy seats, excellent productions! The theater itself is gorgeous (though I wish they could get rid of the netting over the ceiling) and the bathrooms are clean. Cant wait to see another show here.

We saw Beautiful here, and it was absolutely fantastic. The theater was clean, and the staff were friendly. Long lines for bathrooms at intermission, but thats to be expected. Make sure to get a double wine before seeing a show :)

This is an amazing venue!!! My fiance and I saw the Sound of Music and we loved every minute of it. The cast and Orchestra were fantastic! Our seats were in the orchestra section and I think those are my favorite seats.

Historic and beautiful. No matter the performance one is taking in, its sure to be an experience at the Orpheum. Staff are friendly and helpful. We go mostly for Opera Omaha, and have always had an amazing time.

I love the Orpheum Theater! They offer wonderful shows, shows you can see with your kids, parents, and friends. Parking can be an issue if you dont arrive early and know where to go.
