The bed was very comfortable, our room was lovely and the breakfast was delicious. We had a great conversation with Nick, the owner, and his friend Rosemary on the porch over a glass of wine before dinner. I am traveling by bicycle, and Nick gave me a safe place for my bike and good advice on my route. The neighborhood is quiet and beautiful, with the cathedral next door (the Barrister was once its rectory) and beautiful Victorians lining the street, yet it is centrally located. Many restaurants are within walking distance.

A Private User

Barrister B&B just hosted an ice cream social in memory of my grandfather. It was fabulous. They took care of everything and were the kindest of all people. They put up a tent to keep everyone shaded, and served the ice cream in real glass cups with a generous smile. There were lovely table clothes and seats for all. I didnt have to do a single thing. I hope to have an opportunity to host another event at Barrister again in the future. Thanks Nick and company!

The Barrister is by far one of the best Bed & Breakfasts that I have ever stayed at! I was made to feel so very welcome. I couldnt ask for a better place to stay in Helena. The proprietors were knowledgeable about the whole area and gave wonderful suggestions. I got to join in on a pot-luck style dinner and a poker game as well. The hospitality was amazing! I am planning on returning again this coming summer and this is *definitely* where I will stay!
