Can be an excitingly emotional adventure, a good enough restaurant and Tvs for your favorite sporting event. The place is usually clean and overall there waitors and waitressses are friendly. Now the casino floor is laid out in grand fashion. Leading the way are the mostly in my opinion tight Slots the numerous machines they offer are bright flashy and loud. Payouts render me as bias. I do think they could cator to the local patrons more and bring back lunch buffet and breakfast buffet. As a platiinum member I was allways given to feel special, gift shop discounts dropped from 50 to 25 percent. No Buffett , then there goes 4 meals no flyers, no free play no VIP parties. Was losing interest and was demotedbto Gold. But overall I give it 4 1/2 stars.

We get food coupons but have not used them the last couple of months because even when paying half price I felt the meal wasnt worth the price. Well tonight we stopped in for dinner. We were pleasantly surprised. This is good food. When we were paying the check, I told the hostess that they had kicked it up a couple of notches. She said they have a new chef who came from the Hollywood Casino. Towards the end of the meal, I looked at the check and thought, if I paid full price, Id be ok with that. Good job, keep this chef.

My sister and I have always enjoyed the Wednesday night prime rib. Tonight was terrible. The beef was tasteless and waterlogged. Couldnt even cut it with a steak knife. Usually you can cut it with a butter knife. And the dessert selection was minimal. But... The staff were very friendly. The broccoli was cooked perfectly and the carrots were great. The candied yams melted in your mouth. The dinner rolls were divine. So disappointed in the prime rib. Maybe next time.

Food is ok and sometimes they have good live bands. As far as the casino slots go, stay clear. St. Joe is my hometown but Ive traveled a lot for work. Ive been to casinos all across this great country and Ive never seen such tight slots anywhere. They are happy to announce when somone whens small jackpots but even on a busy weekend, you might not hear anyone winning. They literally never pay out. Stick to the tables and you might have a good time.

The buffet is okey. Eating Fridays & Saturdays is good in the evening but a little expensive. Winnings & entertainment is poor. Wish you luck and please be responsible. Spending more than $30 to $100 does not mean you will win. I can win twice a month $300 to $1000 with lors of entertainments at others casinos spending at least $100 a month total. I have never won any jackpots here Frontier casino since 2010.

Definitely a must stop place. On our drives from Omaha to KC and back, we never miss a stop. We run into friendly people who seem glad to see us. The food is topnotch. We dont seem to get many emails and even less mail from them. They always seem to have a crowd, which is more then some places we go! Stop in and give them a try!

The Staff from the Front Door to the Gaming Floor where all pleasant. The greeting from Security and Guest Services folks is always positive. The Dealers are personable and eager to answer questions about the Games. The service from the Food and Beverage was also good. The best part is that I left a WINNER!

Its the only physical casino in St Joseph, Mo. Odds are not bad here surprisingly. Lots of slot machines to choose from. Buffet with decent food. If visiting often the rewards pay off with coupons and cash to play the games with. Like most casinos expect the gaming area to be full of cigarette smoke.

We were told when we made platinum play we would get 2 free meals a week. We actially got 2 free meals this month. Not to be used on seafood night. 10$ slot play twice for 20$. Total for month. Host amd dealers really excellent. But telling someone something and then not following through is false adv..

The employees were very courteous and friendly HOWEVEVER you have to earn 250 points to get $5 in free play! I spent $15 and only got 28 points. Just do the math. REALLY??? I think St Joe Frontier Casino needs to get real with their promotions.

Boiled Prime Rib! Thats right, if your prime rib is not cooked to your satisfaction the buffet staff will BOIL it for you! Nothing but laziness on the part of the staff who refuse to turn on the grill and cook a steak.

I found it in a search as I was driving home to Florida. Stopped in at 10pm because I wanted to do two spins at roulette. The roulette tables were closed. Limited tables open in general. Not happy about that.

The food was marginal. The roast beef was bad. The place is like living in a fog with the smoke. The bar was full of people who seemed lost in time. The drinks were reasonable and bar service good.

Its a small casino but it is very up to date. The staff is the most friendly and personable of any casino Ive been to. The slots seem to hit more often at lower amounts.

We went to the buffet. Our server was great. The food was good. We went on BBQ night and it is actually smoked not just slow roasted. The view of The river was nice.
