This used to be a very NICE Casino, I was a long time member their. I could not say enough about this place years ago, it was around 2011 they started to change up the VIP hosts & the management teams. I had The worst service & treatment in the VIP room by my host "Doddi" She was very RUDE & Absolutly horrible to me on 5 to 8 diffrent occasions. Very Bizarre, I assumed it was a Jelousey issue, I spoke with the RS General Manager about the situation & he made many excuses for her & it fell on deaf ears. I was never re-assigned to another host & I was treated so poorly in the VIP room by her that I vowed after that to never return & give them my business. I am easy to get along with & Trust me I was a very loyal VIP player. Their slots stopped paying in these last few years from what I have heard.. We have all switched over to Hard Rock Casino & WE Love the VIP HOSTS!!! & they are a much more friendly staff! We even received for being VIPs 2 NICE cruises & WE Get AWSOME COMPS!!! Spa days, Massages, dinners, Rewards play, Rustic cuffs! kitchen wear, stero golf membership! Its a day & night difference. RS has gone down hill in service & pay outs, I will say they did have Some friendly staff members left. Its been 2 1/2 - 3 years & True to my word I have not gone inside RS. :):) A Former Elite VIP Player. Im a Platnium Plus VIP player at Hard Rock Casino & it Rocks!! & They Pay OUT TONS!!! I live 4 miles away from RS & we gladly drive the 20-25 minute ride to Hard Rock! We play all nights often on the houses monies! Lots more Jackpots at Hard Rock! Ask any one!

I really liked the place, there are more and more options to choose, but I think this place is very clean for the amt of people who come thru, its an effort to get here, but I like it better than Hard Rock, and the Winstar. Ive yet see a concert here, but Im impressed with the mix of artists they have here.Yes Im a Jimmy Buffett fan so that is influencing, but that view when the River is full is great on that patio, you can ride your bike from the trail and jump off and have a reward at the bar, thats very cool, wish we had this in okc, and his restaurants inside are nice, I think a bit on the pricey side for what you get but atmosphere is awesome, we did not eat as we were heading to BOK concert, but want to come back and try. Ive come back after work passing thru to dodge the traffic and take a break and its nice to do so. Ive won a little and lost a little $ I really like the Margarita/Daiquiri frozen selection wish more place did that, and I dont know what the little stand is called, first drink is a little pricey but no more than any other event/concert/etc, but they give you a refill for like $5 off so if you and your sweetie want to share its not a bad deal. Im not sure if you can bring the container back for a second visit but its a cute souvenir to take, and its the yard long slender fun container. will be back

This casino used to be a low-level gambling center for bingo and rocket bingo, but now is a menace to the City of Tulsa. Unlike other major Tulsa casinos (Million Dollar Elm, Hard Rock, etc.), this gambling powerhouse is located in the center of South Tulsa. The casino itself has eked millions of dollars out of the residents of the surrounding apartment complexes and neighborhoods and in return created a rise in crime and traffic to them. This facility should have been built far away from our schools and our city. Despite plans a for the relocation of the Rivertrails East Arkansas River Trail relocation that were announced in 2006, no construction has ever taken place. The pedestrians and bicyclists of the scenic and popular Tulsa Rivertrail is continually threatened by the actions of flustered motorists leaving the casino making the area an extremely dangerous area for anyone. The trail could have been easily located to the east bank of the river, but instead the Muscogee Creek Nation chose to use the millions of dollars given to it by generous gamblers to build its new facility without constructing a trail to circumnavigate it.

Weve made several motor coach trips to River Spirit and Sunday, June 13th, was Motor Coach Customer Appreciation Days. The River Spirit people were full of enthusiasm and they absolutely knocked themselves out to please us. We received some free play, special t-shirts, and they provided an "island buffet" and live music for all the gamblers that came on the buses. I was one of the fortunate individuals to win some additional free play and a River Spirit gift pack with lots of nice gift items inside. The day was absolutely fantastic. Dont think I stopped playing the slots long enough to get a cup of coffee. Id win some and lose some but the machines paid out well enough that I was entertained most of the day without a major investment on my part. This was our third trip to River Spirit and we have been pleased with the reception we received, the courtesy of the employees, thought the buffet was nice, and to me, the slots paid out better than Hard Rock. The last time we went to Hard Rock, the place seemed rather empty but River Spirit seems to be busy each time weve been there.

I earned 500+ on Sunday,, April 19th and another day and when I went to the Players club to get my scratch cards they told me they would not be in until that following Wednesday. I went on the following Wednesday and then they tell me that when they run out of scratch cards you do not get to collect them even if you earn 500 points during the promotion period. I went to the manager, about my problem of not receiving scratch cards for the days I earned them and not only was she rude but first she tried to tell me that I had gotten them. Then I kept insisting that I did not and she finally look and realized that I did not but told me it doesnt matter because the promotion is over. That is the worst Ive ever been treated as a patron, consumer, etc. It appears that they have so many patrons that they do not care about customer service. I would not recommend anyone visit River Spirit until they give their managers diversity training or at least promote the idea of treating their customers with respect.

The buffet was yummy, but pricey. Food was like Golden Corral, but maybe a level better. The dessert bar AT the buffet, made it worthwhile, and was awesome. I might have eaten several days worth of calories on one plate there... Casino offers all the regular slot machines and table games. They have penny machines here. Nickels, Quarters, Dollars. Margaritaville is a cool restaurant if you have dollars to drop on atmosphere and dont mind mediocre, over-priced food. ($80+ for a pasta dish, a burger and fries, a salad, 2 sodas and a margarita +tip...none of the food was that special or plentiful, service was only fair) Theres a boat available for seating and the floor looks like water. Theres a giant volcano in the corner and when Margaritaville plays, it erupts. Very cool for kids. Theres also a gift shop and at least one other restaurant. I havent stayed in the hotel, but the rooms are entirely non-smoking.
