The location that Google leads you to is not the correct address. It took me another 15 minutes of driving around to find the actual entrance, then I had a walk about a mile until I actually got to where the trail started. This want to be such a problem if I didnt have two big dogs that could only handle about three miles of walking so I wasnt able to get very far into the trail. Was pretty inconvenient.

Its a bit confusing knowing exactly where the property lines are and what is county vs state land and what-not, although there are signs whenever you cross a boundary. Its a cool place to explore with mostly prairie but some woods too. I thought I had found Lone Rock when I stumbled upon a large boulder in the middle of a field, but I later wandered into the forest to discover the real thing.

I always see a ton of geese, ducks and deer. I only have been able to hunt pheasant here though. I think it has been walked a bit too much lately as I only saw two roosters the 5 times Ive went this year.
