Far from a nature center.. Even the developed part of Lebenon hills in Eagan is more of a nature center than this crap shoot of a place. Came here with my four year old and was very disappointed Due to the massive alteration by humans and liqour bottles scattered about, beer bottles and cans stuck onto tree limbs and sitting on benches. Perhaps I am not city enough to enjoy a dump like this. I will say one positive thing about the place and that was a chalk box that my son actually enjoyed near the entrance, other than that id recommend. spending 5 on gas and go to Lebenon Hills in Eagan, its free and 30x the experience this crap shoot offers

Lots of walking trails a fun play area for the kids to play and explore and a floating bridge going out over the marsh provides a unique view of the many water foul in their habitat. Dont forget your bug spray for the walk through the woods.

I nice place to walk. I especially liked the boardwalk, seeing cattails, birds, ducks and the hill that had recycled tires along the embankment with plants.
