When I was a kid, almost every weekend we would walk down to the Capri Theater to catch a kung fu, Godzilla, or the latest blacksploitation movie i.e. "Shaft", "Superfly". Today its a different story. I had the opportunity to catch a couple shows down at the old Capri, one was a teen talent show which was very entertaining and the other was a fundraiser featuring a jazz ensemble with some of the best local musicians and singers the Twin Cities has to offer. This place is definitely a hidden treasure.

A friendly atmosphere and intimate stage, great place to be in or see a performance. Also they played Purple Rain on the big screen and did a Q&A with the makers after Princes passing. They deserve 5 stars.

Nice size theater for Live productions. I attended #repmycityday on 6/10/17. Very nice lobby, parking, and easy to find locale.
