I have never been anywhere but the Apple Valley golf course where I have been treated with so much disrespect that I will not return based on customer service. I called in advance, made a tee time, showed up early and was ready to play. The course attendant explained that she had permitted another group to play because she "did not think that we would show up". No problem. We will wait. We were behind the other pair, waiting to tee off on each of the first three holes. While waiting to tee off on number four, you know so I dont hit the people in front of us like most normal people do, we were approached by the course attendant. She was on fire for us not letting the soccer players play through. Why would we let anyone play through while we are waiting on each tee? She also yelled at my wife for not having her own set of clubs. WTF that is her bag and cart right there! Why would someone say that? We each have a set if clubs. Why are us paying customers being accused of breaking rules we are clearly not breaking? It is a shame that we will not be playing there anymore. I have played that course more than once a year for the last thirty. This lady had no right to treat us that way and she has no idea how she ruined a perfectly fine day for me. All of this would be no big deal if she would just listen to reason and accept the outcome based on the facts but all she wanted to do was yell at us for no reason!

Welcome to Apple Valley’s newest housing subdivision. I am not only The Game of Golf’s target demographic, but this course’s best hope for a potential new regular. It’s the closest course to my home Here’s why this review gets one star: The owner of the course has zero business sense. After walking in after a big raidstorm ahead of a 10:30 tee time, and chatting with the man working the joint, I explained I hadn’t played in 4 year, and I needed a few swings before my father-in-law got there to start the round. He told me it was okay to practice on the putting green or the first hole. I chipped my way back and forth on the first fairway and was abruptly confronted by the owner of the course who came out of a house on the first fairway yelling. Instead of being treated as a potential future customer, I was berated because “this isn’t a driving range!” and “you can’t just hit back and forth!” I had a great game of I enjoyed a lot. I shot a personal best 45, but the overall experience wasn’t positive by a long shot. There is no chance I’ll ever go back to this course. If you own this course and this doesnt sound familiar, have a chat with the crazy lady in the house with the nice wood fence on the first fairway, shes scaring away paying customers.

I wish I would have read the reviews before we decided to go here. The woman who rode out on her broom to literally scream at us in front of our kids as well as the golfers on the other holes. I have never been treated that way as a customer in my life. It was humiliating and we walked off the course immediately. There was no refund or apology, and was more of the same as we were getting into the car. There is a right and wrong way to deal with customers. This woman should have turned us away, but she was greedy and instead took our money and hoped for confrontation. The cow on the hill that was staring at us should consider not playing if she is in that big of a hurry. I will never go back, and if you have never been there trust the reviews. I can’t believe this place is still in business. The pro shop as mentioned in another review as a joke stunk so badly of mold I would suggest lighting a match. The woman should be working as a prison guard rather than dealing with customers.

These reviews are absolutely right, Ive had 2 experiences here, both horrible. I only came back the 2nd, because I had to go with my family, I left the place looking for a chair and a noose. The lady that works there did remind me of some sort of witch she is honestly absolutely insane and totally unfair they provided no instruction of which hole was which so it was very hard to navigate and she found us using the wrong hole and immediately kicked us off basically stealing our 42 dollars which the golf course probably wasnt even worth. This place is thee worst place Ive ever golfed at and this lady shouldnt be treating this joke of a course like its anything legitimate anyone who says otherwise she must be paying off. She probably made fake google accounts to make the 3 star average of reviews possible. Other wise the witch she was probably casted spells on people to get them then to say good things, I wish I could give a rating lower than one star.

My brother - in - law and i were coming off the course when a woman said, "geez i thought you guys got lost. " i thought she was chiding us, but then she went on about the people in front of us having been finished for a half - hour. But that wasnt accurate (they likely came off the course around 10 minutes before us). And i just said, "we were waiting for the people ahead of us for the first 7 holes. " But she didnt seem to want to hear anything but what she was thinking. Her anger seemed misplaced. And while later on she said she was joking, i told her that she needed to then not joke or just say what she meant. I think she might have a mental problem or be a drinker. But my brother - in - law both just got in the car and said, "what was that all about? " They also dont have a credit card machine. I wont go there, again.

Do not go here for foot golf with your children!!!! While the course is nice, and my kids had an OK time, the woman at the counter charged us $44 to go once around the course--my husband and I wanted to accompany our 10 and 12 year olds (thinking that was in the best interest of our childrens safety and the golfers and the course for that matter) and we were charged full price to go on the course. When our kids finished the course in under 30 minutes, since we paid for 4 and only 2 golfed, we asked for them to go again. The woman at the counter wanted to charge us another $12. This turned a nice family outing into a very negative experience-- Foot Golf is meant for kids--and to not support parents accompanying their children is absurd. We would not recommend this course to anyone!

A couple of friends and I were on the course with nobody within 5 holes of us and the course owner came and barked at us for slow play, making intentional divots, etc. She had no proof whatsoever and we had done nothing of the sort. She even had the audacity to claim that she had run ins with one of my friends who had never even been at the course. Whether it be that she doesnt like teenagers or that she is simply an old hag Ill never know. The course itself is fairly well kept but in my opinion its not worth the money. Parents, youre better off taking your kids to the mini golf course at the Burnsville Mall.
