Ive golfed at highland national many times and I find the layout to be kinda uninspired (so few trees or interesting topography) and somewhat dangerous due to the close confines. Its a nice place, not bad and not great. Personally I prefer the 9 hole across the street.

Great city course. Can be a little crowded at times on the fairways. A lot of holes run parallel to each other so players with slices or hooks from another hole might be in your way. Please be courteous and yell fore.

The golf course has never been in worse shape! If the city want to make a buck, they might want to improve course conditions. In 2011 it was almost unplayable. Its falling apart, and stop blamming the weather.

Super nice public municipal course. Not super tough but well maintained. Best course I have played in Twin City area. Fees are average. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Nice place to play Golf. The back 9 holes seems to be a little better than the front nine. Sorry to hear that the course lost 170 trees from last year.

Fun course playable for all skill levels. The renovation really brought this course back to life. Well maintained and friendly staff.

We played 18, the front 9 is pretty boring. Play the back 9 if you can. Every hole is practically a straight shot to the pin.

Hitting off the carpet on the range. Driving range is a narrow netted alley. A high slice will have you calling fore.

A great chipping and putting area. Good driving range and the option of 9 or 18 holes. Well taken care of course.

Nice fairways and greens. Not too tight in the fairways or too open. Challenging course that is fun and playable.

Nice freindly couse with water and traps aplenty. Great for eratic drives and in great condition. A little slow.

Fun and great location. The staff can make the course look great when they want to. About 40% of the time
