This nature center is the best in the area. We have visited with our kids many times and they love exploring the trails - each time is a new experience. They especially love the Mastadon Dig site in the Interpretive building. This place is not just for kids though - we often see people, young and old walking the trails and taking photos during our walks. I suppose its because the trails are easy to trek.

The Stage Nature Center is a free resource located in Troy, Michigan. It has a beautiful wooded area with walking trails where I have seen at least 5 deer at one time. They have very high quality programming such as the Maple Syrup event (these do involve a small fee). The trails are very quiet, and there is a wonderful tranquility to the space. It is a gem to the City of Troy.

Beautiful piece of nature hidden so close to the city. Lovely smiling folks working at the place. Rustic trails that are open from dawn to dusk! Great place for kids to spend time and learn with all the wonderful fun activities. You can always spot deers and they stay around if you pause to look at them! Great place of nature right here in Troy! :)

Calm secluded park with trails going thru the marshes, maple grove, small Rouge river and jungle-like woods. It has an observation deck overlooking grassy area. There is a big chance to see deer.

Quiet, well-kept nature trails and an educational nature building with live displays makes this a great experience for some back-to-basics time.

The best walking Park in Troy. Youll almost always see deer. Weve seen Red Fox there as well. Great scenery. You feel like youre up north

Always a beautiful relaxing walk, for my girlfriend and I. Have seen different wildlife, but mostly deer. It is rustic but kept up.
