Im staying in the brown building, and the rooms smell musty, almost like a mildew kind of smell. They didnt give us any clean sheets to put on the pull out bed Connected to the couch. They also dont have any extra blankets for the pull out bed. The sheets that were on the pull out bed were from the last person who has stayed in this room. The bathroom sink isnt connected to the wall so it moves when you touch it. I had also found a brown rusty colored stain on the shower curtain, the shower is also not that clean. The wifi connection is slow and half the time it didnt even pop up on the settings because the connection was so pore. I went to go make coffee and when I went to go put sweetener, creamer, etc. in the cup, I had noticed that the package was already opened and the creamer was missing. The tissues are like sandpaper, as well as the toilet paper. This hotel is way overpriced for what it is actually worth. Im not sure about the white building yet, but I dont recommend the hotels. Especially the brown building!

We stayed at Lakeview for a wedding in the area. The hotel rooms were incredibly dated, seemingly unchanged since 1995 and SEVERELY overpriced. I had dirty sheets, dingy, battered towels, and they even put a wet washcloth in the rack when servicing my room. The service items (toiletries, toilet paper etc.) are the cheapest ones available, the shower heads are the $5 Lowes special purchased 10 years ago. The clubhouse doesnt look like its been updated since it was built (wood paneling and all). The wait staff at breakfast is distracted and service is very slow. The food is cheap, but youre definitely getting what you pay for - even the bacon looks/tastes like its pre-cooked.

Regarding the hotel, it is outdated, musty, rusty and overpriced. Making matters worse, the front desk staff, particulary Amanda, need a lot training in basic customer service and communication skills. If Lakeview is your only option for lodging in the area, its adequate (barely). They act like they dont have to do anything to the hotel or the treatment of guests to attract/retain customers. Not a very promising business model. I wont be returning

Went for 3 days, the service , food & golf was 2nd to none, all the staff extremely courteous. We were a group of 4 men, golfed 3 days & stayed 2 nights & the staff were extremely tolerable of our enjoyable carefree stay. The price for the package with 3 rounds of golf, 2 dinners & the buffet breakfast including the 2 night stay was very reasonable. The town of Lexington & its residence were nothing short of beautiful.

We stayed at the hotel for a nearby family reunion. I dont feel we got our moneys worth for the price we paid. There was no mini fridge so you were stuck with the offerings of the pop machine. The ice had a funny taste to it. The air conditioner was not adequate to keep the 2 bed room cool. The "balcony" was not even wide enough to fit a chair unless you wanted to stand sideways. All-in-all we overpaid and they under-delivered.

1-13-2017 Thank you to Sue and staff! Welcoming our grandsons hockey team into your lovely hotel, opening the bowling lanes and conference room to them and making sure they had delicious meals was more than we could ask for! Thank you again! Resi Fiedler, Mt Lebanon Hornets #90s Grandma

Outdated and overpriced. The room smelled musty and had cobwebs. There is no one at the desk after 8 pm so if you need something your out of luck. The satellite TV didnt work and there was no one to call so we had no tv all evening. When we told them the next morning they didnt care.

Love playing either the north or south course. Quite a few difficult holes but man that heather...dont shoot near it or youll never find your ball. Definitely a nice day trip from Metro Detroit. I make it a point to go up here at least once a summer with my buddies.

The owners are very rude and greedy. Its expensive. And i know the owners personally and dint agree with how they treat thier workers or customers. Needs new management skills asap before they lose more business.

I really like the old course and the new one as well. Nice people. Great conditions, reasonable rates. The courses get better every year under the care of the team there.
