My husband and I, along with some friends, went to see "Dream Deferred: Detroit, 1967," yesterday. It is a wonderful play with wonderful acting. We are not originally from Michigan and did not live in the area in 1967. We learned some things we did not know. The play coupled with the exhibit at the Detroit Historical Museum are great educational experiences. This was my second time seeing a play at the Matrix (my husbands first). It is a small, intimate theater. Because it is small, there are no "bad" seats. We will be sure to go back.

Visited for the first time to see Motherhood Out Loud on Mothers Day Eve with my mom, mother in-law, sister, and sister in-law. The acting was phenomenal and everyone left laughing. I will definitely be returning in the future.

A Wonderful theater full of quality inspired theater. The cozy size provides an intimate atmosphere for any show. You feel a real sense of community after any show and youre sure to make a new friend or two.

Small, intimate theater, good acting. Saw a play about Detroit 1967 - very good. A lot of insights from different perspectives.
