This is one of the most known and oldest wineries in Michigan and it shows in the allover layout of the winery that also includes a picnic area that over looks a pond and a joining fresh market area. This place is absolutely beautiful! However, there wines are a bit lacking in depth, I think this winery is known for being know. Their tasting is moderately priced at $8 for 5 taste and you get to keep the glass. Most of the reds were very light in body, weight and acidic. There semi-dry whites did taste about average. If youre looking to do a group outing this is worth the stop, but if your looking for a great wine tasting then you might consider taking a pass.

My girlfriend and I came across lemon creek by chance on a weekend away from chicago. The grounds immediately captivated us and the fresh fruit they offer from their orchards made us sure we had found a great place! After perusing their fruit stand we went in for a wine (my first) and had a wonderful time chatting with the friendly staff and other patrons. They have a wide variety of wines and while not all of them were for us, we found a white and a rose that we love love! Two months later, were back in michigan and headed back for a return visit!

We travel from a north suburb of Chicago to Lemon Creek a couple of times a year. We love it there. Their wines are very good, first and foremost. Their staff is actually helpful and approachable (unlike many wineries weve been to). Its a serene place and no ones snobby. Thats our problem with wineries in general. Wine has been said to be the nectar of the gods and a good many staff in other places act as though theyre holier-than-thou. Lemon Creek, the people and the place, are down to earth but the wine is extraordinary.

The building was nice and I love there art. I am also told that they their fruit orchards are a destination in themselves but we came for wine and I was not impressed. We went with a group and two people served us. One was extremely rude and the other did not seem indifferent. I did notice the group in the regular tasting room received a different experience. Wine was OK at best. Dog was awesome and was truly my favorite part along with the wonderful art selection.

We stopped here on a Saturday drive coming in from Indiana. It looked nice enough but when we went in we were able to look around for maybe two minutes until an associate walked up to us to let us know that they were closed five minutes ago. We apologized and told her that we were from Indiana and forgot about the time change. She then asked where we were from in Indiana and after we told.her she told us to come back later. Guess well go drop our money elsewhere ...

Me and my family go there twice a year for the peaches. We love to pick the peaches & the wine. I always do the wine tasting, but this time my experience was not good. One of the attendants rolled her eyes at me and my husband and I didnt appreciate it. It didnt feel so good, but I still bought a box of wines. I wasnt going to let her ruin my day. Love lemon creek

I was surprised on this visit. The reserve wines are actually quite good, the Cab Sav was a favorite and the Malbec was quite nice. Bottles are a little expensive and tasting was not organized but was top 3 of 12 visited. Before I have had the standard offerings and not been impressed, do the premium tasting, it is much nicer.

Great wine, Great staff. Very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful! When walking in theres a warm friendly feeling surrounded by many wonderful wines and many gifts for the wine lover! Its a cozy welcoming atmosphere. Do not miss this winery, it is the most authentic looking winery Ive been to in SW Michigan.

It may have the best wine in the world . We wouldnt know because the only thing anyone said to us was this is a private room, someone will help you at the other side of that bar and he pointed to a spot where there was no room for my husband and I to stand and where no one even tried to help us.

Great value for the tasting, 6 tastes for $8 plus a souvenir glass. Good variety of wines, lots of options for both dry and sweet, and great service. Plus they have a u-pick service for peaches right next door, great option for the family.

Very friendly staff who works there. They also have this amazing dog at the entrance that is so sweet! About wines :) I did not like their dry wines very much. Some of the sweet ones were ok. But of course, its a matter of taste.

I was impressed with all of the dry reds I sampled, the friendly staff, and we had a great time picking apples! Will be sure to put Lemon Creek on the list as one of our annual stops through Southwest Michigan.

Dogs are not allowed not even on the parking lot, they told me to leave my dog in the car, so Im supposed to leave my dog in the car in the middle of summer when the outside temperature is 95.

Ok winery with pretty decent wine. We have been to their Grand Haven location and liked it as well. Nothing particularly impressive but nothing over the top either.

This is our favorite winery in the region. My fiancé and I always bring home more bottles of their merlot and cabernet than we need. Highly recommended.
