This is where locals bring our out of town guests for their obligatorily New England lighthouse photos. Please dont kill me as I run or bike on the road because you are looking at the view instead of paying attention to driving your oversized SUV with out of state plates. Its not my fault that the road has no sidewalk; if I had my way, it would be closed to cars and become an extension of the bike path. In any event, you dont have some god-given right to use the whole lane. Slow down or stop and wait till it is safe to pass.

Iconic and historic regional lighthouse on a very scenic and classic New England bluff overlooking The Hole, with a nice view towards Marthas Vineyard. It is at the far end of, and overlooks, Nobska Beach. It is a easy bike ride or short walk or drive from Woods Hole. Also a lovely destination for night-time walks when the moon is out. There is a convenient and useful wooden bench, with a memorial plaque, around the corner on the ocean side of the road across from the lighthouse.

You can get a nice view of the nearby beaches and the passing ferries from the lighthouse. Im not sure if they ever open up the lighthouse to the public, but it was locked when I went. The lighthouse is a short ride from the bikepath and Woods Hole, but you can drive there too! The parking lot looks small and fits about 5 cars. Either way, you should check this out if you are in the area.

What an excellent landmark. Make sure to visit when volunteers are on duty. You get a great tour and information about the history and the unique engineering of the light itself. As I climbed the circular steps up I was able to fully experience the circular building and the brickwork.

Very nice spot to see a classic New England lighthouse. Beautiful views of the water and Marthas Vineyard. Parking is limited. Check the Friends of Nobska website for tour times over the summer and progress towards opening it on a regular basis.

Good Guide
If you are a tourist to Cape cod than this is a must see location. Not only is the lighthouse truly unique in itself, but the view is breathtaking. Making this an ideal space to take pictures for postcards and such, of just scenic photos.

Beautiful view! Sweet and knowledgeable volunteers. It was mentioned to us that it is only open once a week now and may close completely because of needed repairs and no funds. Be sure to leave a donation!

Excellent view of sea from the lighthouse except the part we have to park the car on the street and the roads are very narrow. You can just stand in front of the lighthouse and click pictures.

If you visiting Falmouth this is about a 7-10 min drive and worth it. The sights are great. Go slow on the winding road leading to the lighthouse.
