Well, we are coming back to this beautiful performing arts center again! We have been here several times and have seen some great musicians. On November 26th we get to see one of our favorite bands. The Alternate Routes are performing and they are a must see! Tims amazing voice and Erics passionate guitar playing will make you wonder why you havent seen them before! AND, they are playing with their full band which makes this even more special!! We cannot wait for our Shalin Liu/Alternate Routes show!

I cannot say enough amazing things about the Shalin Liu performance center. I was just recently married here and it was the most perfect, wonderful and romantic wedding anyone could ask for. Their event coordinator is an angel and was so kind and responsive to myself and my family. The view is also just breath taking. If you are planning an event, do yourself and your guests a favor and do not go anywhere else!! This is truly the gem of Rockport, MA.

With the back curtain open, you can see the ocean as the sun sets, that backdrop is about as good as it gets for seeing live music. After the sun is down they close the curtains and the center becomes one of the most precious and intimate venues in the region. Shalin Lu is so good, its worth going, no matter who is playing. Its one of the best places of its kind in the country.

If you have a chance to see a Summer evening concert here, do it. The sun sets behind the performers and the seagulls ride the air currents just outside. Ive seen choral and rock concerts here--the acoustics are terrific. There are no bad seats. Even the practice area on the 3d floor is gorgeous.

No concert hall could be as beautiful and majestic as the Shalin Liu. The entire wall behind the stage is a window looking out into the harbor. Evening show during sunset are the most spectacular. Watching a show here will be the best experience a venue can offer!

An architectural masterpiece, a wonderful and intimate performance venue in which there are no bad seats and everyone has a spectacular view of the Rockport coastline and the ocean through the wall of windows that serves as the backdrop for the performances.
