My husband and I went here for a date night recently. We weren’t really sure what to expect, as we hadn’t been here before and usually prefer locally-owned venues. To begin, the food was delicious! For an appetizer, we ordered the Southwest Spring Rolls – crispy, flavorful, and plenty of garnish (avocado ranch sauce, sour cream, salsa, etc). For main entrees, we both chose from the Smokehouse menu. Now, my husband is really picky about his barbeque, having lived in the south. He had the Hickory Smoked Duo Combo (with ribs and pulled pork) and LOVED IT. He said the ribs had a nice hickory flavor (as advertised) and were perfectly tender. I had The Texan, a pulled pork barbeque sandwich with crispy jalepenos and crispy onions – mouth-wateringly delicious! We both had cole slaw and beans as sides, and both were above-average quality (they certainly disappeared from the table quickly!). We shared three of the “bites” for dessert – they were okay, but we should have followed our waitress’ advice and gotten the fresh apple cobbler – the couple next to us seemed to really enjoy theirs. I was afraid the prices would be jacked up for the “ambiance” factor, but everything was really reasonable. Adding to our pleasant experience, the service was excellent – attentive but not too pushy (especially for a corporate chain restaurant!). Our waitress made great recommendations, and the one time we ignored her we wished we hadn’t (she recommended the cobbler for dessert). I was worried the atmosphere would be too loud to have a conversation, but was surprised to find a mix of great music loud enough to appreciate but not so loud we couldn’t hear each other. We even found ourselves singing along at some points. We took a walk around after eating and the concert venue is nicely set up – intimate (400-500 people) with some great memorabilia and an interesting history to the site. I’d definitely be interested in going back to see some of the acts they book. Overall, this was a great experience! We would definitely go back again.

On July 26, 2015 I purchased two shot glasses for $9.00 each from Gabrielle (according to the receipt). One was the Hard Rock’s standard with the name Boston and the other a decorative cordial. She did not open the boxes to confirm they were the correct ones, put them in a bag and we left. When we returned from our trip, I opened the boxes and found she had given me two of the standard shot glasses, completely missing the decorative cordial. I called the Hard Rock today and they told me I have to ship the glass back, then they would send the correct one. I asked to talk to the manager as I felt the $4.00 or so shipping along with my time to find a shipping box, packing and filling out the UPS forms wasn’t worth the price of the glass. Unfortunately they hung up on me before I even got to talk to the manager. Called again and finally got the retail manager, Brian Johnson, who also insisted I pay to send the glass back and said they would not reimburse me for the shipping even thought it was their fault. I argued with Mr. Johnson stating what kind of poor customer service they are providing by requiring me to pay for their mistake, when I’ve already had to pay for two long distance phone calls. He insisted he had no control and it was the rules. I suggested several times that for a $9.00 item, it’s ridicules for him to stick to the rules and shaft the customer who is completely innocent. He still refused and appeared to not care about anything but the rules. And yeah, I’m going to spend money on two long distance phone calls to try a cheat them out of a $9.00 shot glass. Great customer service. Didn’t even offer to let me fax or email the receipt to prove I purchased them. Had to be shipped. I guarantee you I will NEVER purchase or walk through a Hard Rock Café again if this is how they are going provide service.

Was there on Oct 5 2015 on vacation from Pennsylvania, Our food was Hard Rock food & our sever seamed pleasant, I paid my bill with a Verizon Visa gift card I had activate a day before and made 1 purchase besides my Hard Rock tab. The next day I when to use it for another purchase because I had a balance remaining but it didnt work so I contacted the card company and they said that the active on it was 1 purchase before Hard Rock and Hard Rock did not show up and they told me the card was wiped clean which means our sever Sean probably scanned it and withdrew the balance with totaled $87.02. I cotacted the Boston Hard Rock and had to leave a message to their financial person Jayson which never returned my call. Just a waning to all if you use a Visa gift card there they may wipe the balance from it and youll never know until you try to use it again later & being Im now back home there not much can be done now. I hope Sean really needed the money. If Im ever back in Boston You can bet Ill not be back at Hard Rock!!

On the evening of the 15th of February, I and a friend came upon the Hard Rock Café in Boston. Having spent the day around the city, we chose to go in relax and grab some dinner. Upon entering we found the dining room fairly sparsely seated, but with a decent energy. Our waitress was Angelina and she was absolutely phenomenal. Not only did she present the options of consumables (both food and cocktails), but presented the items that make the cafe different from other restaurants (the memorabilia and retail). Angelina also took the time to highlight the “Boston Room” containing artifacts associated with Boston based bands. Our meals were great and come out in a manner that was timely, but not rushed. We were also impressed that while then a party of forty-two was seated not far from us, pressing our waitress into service with this challenge. At no point did we feel that our experience was compromised by this event. Overall we had a great time and will be returning at the next possible opportunity.

My expectations were minimal, and they still werent met. Id not have gone to the Hard Rock had we not been attending an after party for a Hatch Shell concert, but thats where they held it, so thats where we went. The appetizer spread put out was a strange mix of deep fried stale pita with hard to identify vaguely mediterranean spreads and low quality nacho chips. The beer selection was nearly non-existent - the Sam Adams Lager taplines were filthy, and when the bartender was informed of this, she said she didnt drink beer so she couldnt confirm it by tasting. The bartenders spent a significant portion of the evening cutting holes in their t shirts instead of attending to guests. Okay, the Hard Rock isnt for people like me -- its for families on vacation who are afraid of trying anything new. Even those families were avoiding the place on this Saturday night, though -- word must have gotten out.

Came here 2 nights ago after having a great time taking the kids to the aquarium with my brother, sister in law, and kids. Got seated rather quicky, and service was fair. The food was ok. The next night my daughter became sick to her stomach (lets just say my living roon floor got a good sample of how sick she became); minutes later I recieved a call that my sister in law became sick as well. Hours later I became sick, as the next morning my brother calls that he became sick as well. It was a horrible experience, and came to the conclusion that it mustve been food poisoning from food that may have been contaminated. The night we went to Hard Rock, we all shared an appetizer of chicken nachos. The ONLY ONE who did NOT GET SICK from this night was my 4 year old daughter who did not eat from the chicken nachos. Again, It was a horrible experience.
