This place is ridiculous. Used to come here a lot for great music and dancing, could always look past the porn playing on TVs and the poor strippers. But then I tried to bring some girlfriends (having warned them about porn, strippers, etc) for a great night of dancing. In one case, they told one of the girls that she was going to have to check her coat dress (ZERO tolerance on the coat check policy). When we tried pointing out that she had nothing on underneath a MOST unpleasant manager came out screaming at us. Even though we never made it past the coat check, they refused to refund the cover charge we had just paid. In another case they told another girl she couldnt come in because she was wearing heels. HEELS! They say its because someone fell down the stairs in heels and theyre afraid of being liable. Apparently its not just the strippers that dont have balls. Maybe theyre just trying to make it hard for women to come in. I dont know, it doesnt matter. Ill never return here.

Its an ok place. The drinks are average price and there is a large downstairs area for dancing and drinking. The upstairs area wasnt too large and had a go-go dancer with a bar. The music isnt the best as they take top 40 songs and add the same techno beat to every song. Its nice to sing along and dance to these party songs and not hear the same beat! Its cash only, has a cover (which I dont understand), and closes early (as everything in Boston closes early). I will say that it was easy to get a drink at either bar (upstairs or downstairs). There was a nice mixed crowd. It was alright, but nothing special nor spectacular.

One of the most unfriendly places Ive ever been in the world. We were sat enjoying a drink and a fun night when a local regular appeared and put his jacket on the back of my friends chair. He then sat by me on my chair and started pushing me off. Within a couple of minutes his bouncer friends came along and kicked off telling us to leave. All because we were apparantly in his seat. All very bizarre and inbred! A local bar for local people. Outsiders definitely not welcome!!!

Very uncomfortable vibe from staff. The bar manager sat watching a shoot em up movie very loudly on all of the bar tvs for 90 minutes with a crowd of people in the bar.....weird. Incredibly rude bartender. The guys were nice and it was a good mix, but I have never felt so unwelcomed by staff at any other gay bar. PASS THIS ONE UP.

the entire place look loo dirty and decadente.seems like a place with some glorious past that was left behind it and just refuse to update it..walls,bathroons ,music..everything in bad shape..and the stripers please old fat guys with some muscles dancing in speedos is not appeling t all..

As advertised by other reviewers. Was the ONLY customer early on a Friday night. Bartender looked at me and promptly went back to playing a video game behind the bar, ignoring me while I sat on a barstool 3 feet away from him. Waste of $6 for a beer and rudeness.

If you like remixes and techno,this might be your place. Otherwise, I found the music to be rather unenjoyable with little variation. The crowd is a mix of all ages. Ive definitely been to better gay bars/clubs.

Gay bar with dancers. My friends and I lovingly refer to it as the parasite. Cash only. Dont have any huge expectations. Go to dance and have a good time. Check Facebook for themed nights.

Fun bar. This place clearly doesnt take itself too seriously and thats okay its a bar. Very casual, dark and far from pristine. Best to go on a Saturday night.

Every second Friday of the month is Undies Night. Check your coat and your pants. The DJ and the lower level Bartender rock. Great music and great drinks!
