Came here for drinks on a Friday night. The always have new DJs so cover is about $10 and the line gets pretty long so come early if you want to avoid that. Given it was the end of the year and most of the area students are likely gone there was no line but the place filled up by 11ish. The music was a good mix of throwbacks, hip hop, r&b, and top 40. They have a coat check but most people just leave their coats laying around the edges of the room. The drinks are well made and run about $8-10 with a fairly attentive bar staff.

Middlesex Lounge is by far the best club/bar in Cambridge and my personal favorite in the Boston area. I usually go when DJ Kon is spinning or when Ms. Thang plays there but I have never been disappointed with the music. Ive also heard great things about the Burlesque shows there, which is on my list of things to do. Drinks are reasonably priced, no dress code and a great mix of people. Get there early or you may be waiting in line for quite a while.

Music sets the mood in this lounge open for beer, cocktails, and light foods. Cool without being pretentious, Thursday nights are a sure thing (Make It New, the Award-winning, seven-year old techno/house party). Other notable evenings are/were <3throb and CVLT. Bartenders + drinks are great; the place is one sprawling dance floor. Enjoy the break crew that regularly appears during the week.

Not exactly upscale, but if you dont mind a tight squeeze, this is a fun place to just go and dance with some friends. Late nights its set up mostly as big open space to encourage dancing, and there is limited space for sitting down or putting your stuff (no coat check of course, just on the seats). So dont bring a huge coat/purse/etc unless you want to be worrying about it all night.

Solid dance events (I.e. Make It New) and good bar bites but the setup for these events and bathroom situation are atrocious. Put the DJ booth in the opposite corner and completely redo the bathrooms to increase capacity and then this might make for a fantastic venue. Sound system is solid and the crowd can get really weird.

Awesome sound system, legit DJ, poppin dancefloor, and good looking crowd. But drinks are expensive and on saturday night the line for the bathroom is as long as the line to get in. Its probably faster to run over the the Asgard and come back. Also, watch out the sketchy dudes trying steal your wallet, or your girlfriend.

hands down, the best dance club in central square. its just 1 large, dark room, where the dj spins all sorts of music depending on the night. check out thursday nights for some deep house sounds. on weekends they artificially inflate the line, so get there early or be prepared to wait until 12:30 to get inside.

Went here for a private event and paid my bar tab with my card and left a cash tip of $7.00 on a $38.00 bill and wrote cash in on the tip line but they still added gratuity to my card of $4.00. I wasnt going to call and complain about $4.00 but I find it ridiculous that someone would do that.

Great place to dance like its no ones business with friends and people who really enjoy going all out with their moves. Perfect DJ sets always. Just a really cozy place with good vibes, cheap drinks (no creeps), so much fun always. Very quality place for good music and people.

Although the musics are good but I dont trust the bar tenders. They charged my credit card $60 instead of $30. I called my credit compony and they cancelled the entire transaction!!!! But if you wanna use your credit card be careful!!!

Avoid on Friday and Saturday. Patron religiously Tues, Thurs, and Sat. One of the few places in Boston that "gets" techno, has a good scene, and isnt life sucking club mess. That is, if its not Friday or Saturday.

I love the variety of events offered at this venue. The playlists are very good for the weekend dance parties. The bartenders make really delicious drink combinations. The cover is cheap.

I love the minimalist atmosphere of this place. If youre going here club at night, make sure you get there by 10:00. Any later and you risk standing in some very long lines.

Love Love the food selection. Last time I was there got an amazing cocktail and nachos and a quesadia . The nachos were to die for!!! the quesadia was really good too!

Ive been here twice. Both times the music was good...not great. The second time I went they had a creepy movie playing where a Japanese women got raped. BAD TASTE.

Just not impressed. They should do something else with the set up. Seating is strange. Large bathroom lines infront of the DJ booth. Food was good though.

This places varies A LOT depending on which night you go. For EDM on Thursdays, its always a good choice. Other nights, it can be a ride.

Good play list but when requested a song the dj would not play it even though he said he would. Drink are very expensive!
