If youre looking for good drinks, at a fair price, this is the spot. Ive seen some truly great bands, as well as some comically horrible ones, but thats the allure, its an adventure to say the least. And if you have a band, you can get started here. There are a few bands that come around regularly, the open mic night usually delivers. Theyve introduced Kareoke, which im not a fan of, but I realise many people like that. I usually pop in to see the wierdness of that whole idea. Its usually good for a few laughs. If you dont want to get into a fight, this is the one bar Ive never seen it happen in. Forget JP McBrides, or the Peddlers Daughter. The only other place Id recommend is Kelleys.

AJ Noonan

The absolute best place to be thursday friday and saturday nights. Fantastic atmosphere, attentive bartenders and great prices on drinks. Highly recommend coming on any night that DJ Jay D is djing! Usually downstairs on thursdays and upstairs on fridays or saturdays. Get there early because the dancefloor is known to get packed and spill out into the whole bar turning into a wicked fun dance party!!

Though the live music is great and the DJ keep the hits rolling all night, the bartenders create a negative vibe in this otherwise positive nightlife atmosphere. The rude remarks to customers, long drink waits and unfortunate bitter tones off put all the positive aspects of this bar. I do not recommend attending unless you are solely going for the entertainment aspects of it.

Its a great dive bar with a small club atmosphere on the weekends. The bar gets overwhelmed though, so pre-game properly. Dance floor is pretty small, though no one really dances well anyway. Music is entirely dependent upon who they have performing that night.

Loved this place right away. Very cool old building in historic neighborhood. Totally unpretentious bar, very relaxing and excellent place to see a band in a small room. Sunday night jazz is the best.

Great open mic, not a fancy place, good atmosphere and people. It served its purpose as a place to relax and listen to some good local singers. Bartender was cool
