Went to launch my boat at the PUBLIC boat ramp located on West side of the shared parking lot herr and was refused access because of a rowing event... no one was using the ramp at the time when we wanted to gain access, but still we werent allowed in the lot... had the entire family loaded in the car, excited and ready to go, but these selfish folks had to wreck what would have been a glorious day cruising down the Charles River. Not sure when it became OK for a private entity to restrict the public from accessing a public service / way. Would love to see these folks be more conscientious of other boaters who may want to enjoy and share the Charles River in addition to crew teams (yes many of us use the Charles for kayaking, sailing, powerboating, and paddle boarding... not just rowing).

Really interesting venue! I liked the unique style of the downstairs boat-housing as an area for cocktails and hors dœuvres. The area surrounding it offers quite a lovely view of the Charles, and there was plenty of parking!
