I live nearby this place and I never knew what was inside the building until I got invited to a bridal shower there. It is very beautiful inside. We had coffee and things like cakes/brownies/cookies, and the atmosphere of the room we were in made it perfect for this type of event, as it is had a very elegant/ classy feel to it. The couple is actually also having their wedding reception at this venue, so I went to have a look at the ballroom where it is going to take place. Very regal and antique looking, so if you are looking for this type of thing it is perfect.

I went to the Harvard Club of Boston for a friends wedding and they did a stellar job hosting it. This place definitely has an old school Boston architecture atmosphere as it is located in Bostons historic Back Bay. They food in the function room that they provided was also top notch. Also considering the number of guests keeping the quality as high as they did was a real feat. I am sure it is a pricey venue but you wont be disappointed with the final product. This place knows how to pull off a wedding.

Very bad experience with the overnight rooms recently. We were first put in the Annex - which had not been remodeled for at least several decades - except a new TV. All the plaster was cracked in the rooms with peeling paint, no baseboards, and a bathroom that was straight out of the Bates motel. An argument with reception the next day had us moved to a newer room - a substantial improvement over the Annex - but not nearly worth the price ($249/night).

Lively yet luxury feel. Great food. Amazing bed. Sorta wish there were some more love put into the hallways and such...but its a classic club and there were wonderful events hosted while there so clearly other noteworthy entities of bean town agrees.

We just had a perfect wedding at the Harvard Club. Jennifer was an amazing event planner and was such a delight to work with. Her entire staff made this weekend magical. Our guests loved the accommodations, we had no problems at all!

incredible food, incredible atmosphere... the wait staff could not be friendlier and get to know the members by name if you are a harvard graduate or a family member of a harvard graduate member you have to join! you wont regret it
