Most dog owners here are considerate; others are not. Dogs must be leashed ALWAYS, at ALL times or you WILL be reported! The trail is divided for bicyclists and walkers/joggers although the painted line is not clear in many places and should be repainted. Rolling hills make this an enjoyable park for those on foot. Parents seem to enjoy this trail for strollers and carriages. The back side of the pond can get buggy around the last week of April into the end of May. Snakes abound in summer months but are typically the harmless garter snake variety. They also tend to stick to the woodsy trails rather than the main paved path that winds around the pond. The pond is an enjoyable fishing hole for kids and their parents. Swans, deer and turtles are plentiful, and its a great park for would-be ornithologists. Bathroom facilities are available near the front entrance. Skateboarding and rollerblading is permitted but I wouldnt recommend it due to the narrow paths and short-range visibility. I find this an even more enjoyable place to stroll than Waldens Pond due to its variety of landscape and wildlife.

Pretty park, nice and paved. Best for walking, but not great for little kids on bikes, it is way to hilly. My son actually went face first into a gate that someone had put across the bike path (it was supposed to be open). It was at the bottom of a hill and he was on his bike so he was going very fast. It was VERY scary but he was okay. Not a great place for non-experienced bike riders but nice for walking.

This park is an easy, but scenic walk around Pond Meadow Pond. There are paths off of the main trail that you can take, and areas for picnics, and an amphitheater. The trails are pet friendly, however they are strict about picking up after your dogs. Pickup bags and trash cans are provided.

This is a great place for families as there are bike paths and walking path which are surrounded by what is left of the massive forest and beautiful field which is Pond Meadow Park. Still very peaceful and quiet but not dangerously isolated. Lots of free family fun.

Pond Meadow Park is a great place for a scenic walk. There is a 2.6 mile paved walking (and biking) path around the pond as well as some non-paved woods trails. There are picnic tables and benches to rest on throughout the park.

Paved bike path goes around the pond and thei the meadow. Lts of unpaved trails in the woods. Lots of dogs, walkers, and cyclists. Good for strollers except they dont seem to plow after snow storms.
