National Apple Festival, was a freaking joke. All the hype and publicity of this Apple festival and it was more of a craft show and car show then anything. They accept to many people with whatever booths they want and dont keep it apple themed. I went there for apples, not indian tepees, not crafts, not leather work, not classic cars, not a bunch of random vendors. Sure they had some apple cidar, some apples, but very limited. This is not what you have visioned as a classic country fair setting, nor apples, wheres the apple carving, free samples, apple cook off, apple eating contest, the smell of apples covering the whole place, no where, so dont bother tryin to find looking for it here.

My family has been to the Apple Festival 2 years in a row now. I wasnt going to write a review, but I saw that review from 3 years ago and it made me mad. This is a very nice festival, lots of vendors, old time tractors, crafts, all yes, but it is like going to a craft show with apple stuff as a bonus. They have apple slushies, baked apple everything, and fresh apple cider. there is a lot of live music and plenty of stuff to do. This Sunday will be our third year of going, fun for the whole family. Our daughter is 10 and she is looking forward to going again. I recommend it.

We went for the fair. Very hot temperature, lots of 4 H displays and animals. Then it stormed. For a carnival /fair, it was okay. Entertainment was really, really good.
