This is a fantastic place for finding fossilized shark teeth, among other ancient treasures. There is a long spread of beach, which allows for some privacy after a lovely 10-minute walk through a pretty forest. The water is still and calm. Each member of our family found at least 50 teeth in the 2 hours we spent searching. Most teeth are from ancient goblin sharks or sand tiger sharks.

Well marked beach trail, in good condition. Beach is narrow so check the tides before you go, nice little crescent stretch of sand and rocky beach. Boats were anchored at the point to the south. Only enough parking for about 8 cars across the road from the trail.

Local best kept secret. Pull offs on the side of the road for parkign, take a walk through the forest to nice stretch of narrow rocky beach for a private picnics. Digging for fossils and sharks teeth is great here.
