I used to play here when I was a kid before it was a park. My mom organized a protest with the neighborhood kids holding up homemade signs at the city council meeting when they were starting construction on Herndon Parkway. I live far away now, but Im glad this park still exists. It is a magical place!

Cool woodsy trails with oodles of nature, rocks to leap on, and a small stream to hop across...I would say these teeny trails are more for walkers than for runners, though it does have a close connection to the Sugarland Run road trails! Havent taken my pooch here yet, but seems pretty pup-friendly!

Nice trails and wildflowers, when in season. Descent trails along the river. Few restrooms. Uneven trails throughout. Sometimes muddy

Great smaller park for picnics, and natural terrain hiking. Has a great orienteering course too!
