Though more expensive than is justified, we have stayed in and enjoyed this hotel a number of times, primarily because of its convenient downtown waterfront location. The service and housekeeping are commendable; the in-house restaurant, Pussers, and its bar are consistently recommendable. Unfortunately, and not in keeping with our other stays in this hotel, we unexpectantly had to spend the night in Annapolis and, without reservations, approached the front desk clerk and asked for a room. She stated the room rate and then just stood there in silence. We were puzzled and asked if there was a problem, and she responded, "Well, do you want it?" We generously assumed that she meant no insult and let it pass. Then the room we were provided was disappointing, because we could clearly and easily hear normal conversations being carried on in the next room. All in all, we recommend this hotel but caution you to establish that you will reject any such room as described above. Our rating takes all of the above into consideration.

Overall a nice hotel. Valet service was very accommodating and treated us exceptionally well. We got to the hotel early at 330pm to see if our room was ready. It wasnt so we went to the bar. Came back and checked at 400pm and it still wasnt ready. They gave us two free drinks at the bar for the trouble which was nice. Upon getting into the room at 430-445pm we found it did not have a balcony which we had specifically asked for and was promised to us when my girlfriend booked it over the phone with them. We called down to the front desk and they offered no solution to the issue. At almost $400 a night i would have expected them to try a little harder than doing nothing to rectify an issue like that. Still the room that we had was one with a jaccuzi tub and it was well appointed with a good view of the water. Despite the room issue i would book with them again.

Friends gave us a night at the hotel for our wedding night and since I planned to sail to my wedding, I called a day before to ask if I could get ready in our room and board the boat at their dock. They said yes. When I arrived, dressed in a white gown with my bridesmaids and with our boat pulling up to meet us, they would not let him dock long enough to load, I had to run up the street in my wedding gown and jump on the boat illegally at a Yacht Club nearby. We would have docked for 3 minutes. After our wedding, the room was horribly noisy, like being in a plane engine. We both wore earplugs to drown out the droning. After the fact, they tried to charge us an extra $40 for nothing.

Above Average Hotel with Slightly Below Average amenities. Its a nice hotel with very nice interior decorated rooms and a very nice, new TV. The room didnt have a mini fridge, and staying in a street side room (vice water side) we were subject to loud partiers across the street that liked to scream every 3-5 minutes (until midnight) and bar hoppers walking by on the sidewalk. Its valet parking only for $23, and NO complimentary breakfast (only room service). The front desk ladies were great and there is literally a restaurant with dock side bar directly next door. The location is absolutely stellar for down town Annapolis and that makes it an easy 4 star rating.

Staying at Annapolis Waterfront Hotel in the middle of downtown is an incredible experience. The service and new upgraded rooms are first class. The view is to die for and everything is within walking distance. The hallway also features an pictorial exhibit of Annapolis featuring photos that are well over 100 years old. Outside dining on the water is available for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Park your car and spend a week. You will never run out of things to do; easily the best way to enjoy a stay in Annapolis.

Very busy area. You cant pick a more centrally located hotel for downtown Annapolis. Rooms are decent, bathrooms have been recently upgraded. We had a partial water view which was nice. The staff makes the difference. The valets could not have been nicer and were eager to share local knowledge. The front desk person was cordial and efficient. Greatly appreciated. We were in Annapolis for an event but plan to come back to this hotel and relax and have fun around town! Everything is walking distance.

The service was excellent. However... The airconditioning had failed which made for a very un relaxing stay. We did sample the drinks at the bar which was very disappointing. There closeness to Annapolis was excellent and we were Able to tour the historic district on foot. I will have to say the staff from the valet to the concierge were all very professional. As far as the decor of the rooms and hotel in general, I really enjoyed the modern nautical theme and the color palette they chose.

A beautiful hotel right on the Waterfront of Annapolis. Walk into a nautical themed hotel offering tidy, clean, spacious rooms with a large bathroom and exellent shower. The staff are friendly and offer too notch service. Clean sheets, towels, hot water and great views. Youre a short walk from downtown, the naval academy, or just a nice walk across the bridge to the suburbs. You get exactly what you pay for and more. Highly recommend.

The location was the main reason my wife and I stayed here. Its right on the dock area with a lot of stores and restaurants right accross the street. The valet service made the stay worth it. We were in and out several times throughout the day and they were extremely accommodating to my requests. The rooms were clean and well kept. Really nice tv in the room! Would stay here again but next time Ill get the Waterview room.

The hotel staff successfully ruined an otherwise wonderful celebration weekend. They decide on their own to clean out rooms before checkout without checking with guest who leave things in their rooms. The hotel management did nothing to rectify the situation. No offer to replace items thrown away only made a small offer of points. Sorry we made the decision to celebrate in Annapolis and use this hotel.

I love this hotel for its location and hospitality. The rooms may not be as lush in decor as other hotels but nothing beats the water front view from your balcony and windows. We had all of our guests stay here for our wedding and they all loved it and being able to go down to Pussers for drinks and oysters on the water. I love our view of Ego Alley. This is my favorite place to stay in Annapolis!

Do not leave this gorgeous front water restaurant without trying the "Sea Scallops". They are fried and rolled in shredded phyllo, but they are soo crispy!!! , they come on a bed of wilted spinach, lump crab and prosciutto ham with a shrimp cream sauce that will have you wanting more. Another great dish here is the Cioppino. This place is fancy and pricey but worth every bite.
