I was with a group of 40 for a business dinner. We had reserved a large section of the top floor. The restaurant was understaffed. Our server/bartender was working the entire floor, our group plus eight or so 4-top tables, by herself. No one else was there to assist. It was only her 6th day on the job. When people began to complain, the management tried to blame her for the poor service. Our server was exceptional, but the management failed. My food was great. Others did not receive theirs. I slipped our server an extra tip in addition to the automatic 18%. Hopefully, she was able to keep it for herself and did not have to share with the people who were not helping her. I imagine that in a small group the service would be much better, but I doubt Ill take the chance.

Horrible customer service. No drink menu. Food was mediocre. There were only a few other people there at the time of our dinner, and the waitress forgot to bring us water several times, and had to be reminded twice to bring me a take home box for my food. Then she brought us the wrong tables receipt when there were only 2 other tables there at the time, and that bill was over twice what our bill should have been. Computers at the place were shut down and we had to wait for over 45 minutes for the charge to be sorted out. Also, bathrooms were disgusting. Really disappointed in the service since this place had been highly recommended to me, but I dont think I would come back unless they really figure out how to properly run a business.

I decided I wanted to see if it was the ww of old so we come in for dinner tonight prior to the music and waited at the door for over 20 mins and were never addressed by staff. We saw a huge sign signifying that tables were reserved for food patrons yet stood at the door looking out at at least 6 tables full of people not eating. I asked other people in line what up stairs looked like and they said it was booked for a party! On the night you schedule one of the biggest names youre going to get??? We obviously left. Poor organization, poor customer service, poor management. Too bad used to be my favorite place.

After spending over 56 dollars in food and drinks at the Wildwood they had the nerve to want to charge my wife for a glass of water after asking to speak to a manager the manager blew us off and sent the poor waitress to say sorry call on Monday well I know that most of the dancers dont pay for drinks because they just drink water.........well they just ran off a table that was spending money in their club....not any more...first time here and I can say the last time

I went here one year ago after moving from Texas. Disappointed would have been a two star rating. What i remember, the brisket was awful. The waitress told us that it was an off night and she and the manager stood behind their food. Tonight was disgusting. What they did to the meats made me send it back. Again, they stand behind their food. Corn bread was okay, but no honey. No refund, no apology, and a 30 minute wait to pay our bill. After

A must step-in for those who want to have great drink, great fun, great food. Ask for the red-haired bar tender (Mondays happy hour, or whenever shes there) to make you a chilled Pincho Martinis. It tastes like you just bite into a fresh-white- fleshed peach on a summer day kinda thing - only that youre sipping it ;)Staff are super awesome too. Ill be back for more, thats for sure.

Dancing, bbq and some live musical performances too. They have a bar and wait services at the tables. Booths are not real comfortable (no cushions). The food I had here was good. If you or your friends are into dancing than it can be a lot of fun. Also is a good place just for food too if you want bbq on the east side of Iowa City

Great ribs!! Got there about noon and ordered. Its quiet that time of day, so there was no waiting. The Rib dinner seemed a bit expensive at $18.00, but they brought me enough to last three meals! The Ribs were excellent and the potato salad and coleslaw were both just as good. Next time Im hungry for ribs, Im heading back there!

I went several times to the old wildwood it was amazing..... the new owners suck. Mix drink $6.50 beer bottles $4.00 had to wait 10 minutes to get a drink at the bar that nobody was at because the bar tender was too busy trying to get laid. Piss poor service Prices too high. Doubt we will be back.

This rating is just for the country bar not the restaurant. Havent tried their food. Hands down worst country bar Ive ever been in. I get there and all theyre playing is rap and salsa music. I guess having some neon signs with a Texas on it classifies a bar as country in Iowa.

The cornbread was to die for. Good food, decent prices. Service was a little slow because we were on the second floor. And the place itself is hard to spot and looks like a shack from the outside. But the people there are very nice.

I went for their monthly salsa social and the band was grear! They dont have dark beer though( which i love so i had to settle for an Ale). And the prices are really resonable. There was no cover charge

Great customer service. Fries and cheese curds were perfect. Our burgers were very dry to the point I had to keep drinking water. They did offer to remake the burgers which was nice.

The cornbread is probably the best Ive ever had. It was really, really good. The pulled pork was also excellent. We definitely want to go back on a night they have the bull going!
