Elk Creek has a lovely set-up. The veiws are breath taking and very relaxing. It is in the middle of nowhere, which was part of the point to me. The wine is fantastic, please try the cab. However, the accommodations were somewhat sub par. There were several imperfections in the rooms (such as the sink not having the appropriate knobs, some of the blinds on the door were broken, etc.). I took the tour which was free, however I would have paid $5-$10 to have a knowledgable tour guide. I felt like the poor thing was all over the place on the discussion and didnt really know much about the processes. The staff were overall nice, but the customer service side of things could be enhanced to give a better experience to customers. I had the Margherita pizza at dinner & it was so good! On the other side of that, the "continental breakfast" was just that--- zero protein options, coffee, hot water to make oats, cereal, a few bagel and muffin options, and a couple pieces of waxy fruit. It would def. be in the best interest of the company to invest in a waffle maker and some eggs/bacon or even a Greek yogurt. I would probably come back for a day trip, but not an overnight.

I won a free night stay. Included was room, dinner, cheese plate, bottle of wine, breakfast in morning My husband and I we upgraded to the master suite. It was well worth the $54. This room was the most beautiful room we have ever stayed in. The bathroom was huge. The whole room was. The tub was very big the jets were great. I relaxed in it at night and in the morning was so good on my back and hips helped the pain. The dinner was great, the wine was tasty, the entertainment Very good heard some of the classic I hadnt heard for a while. They even played some of the more up to date songs. The breakfast was very good. This is a beautiful place. Hope we get to come back in the future. We highly recommend ELK CREEK VINEYARDS

They have some pretty interesting wines, and the building is gorgeous! However, every bit of positive was overshadowed by the utter rudeness of the women behind the bar. One lady was both unwilling to explain the wines and seemed irritated at our presence. Granted they were busy, but we were very polite and understanding of this and explained as much. Nonetheless, after charging us tax for free drinks - which we willingly paid - a rude, old woman informed us she didnt know why we managed to get the wine we had and had another woman check us out instead. Keep it classy. The kindness of the last employee we dealt with was just not enough to make up for this rotten experience.

This place has something for everyone. If you dont like spending the night, with people you dont know, in a gorgeous home, you can choose to stay in the Estates. Everybody that we met at Elk Creek Lodge was friendly and courteous. They went out of their way to be helpful. We stayed for two nights in the Estates. The room was nice and the ceramic shower was great. We had lunch at the Winery and the sandwiches were great and reasonably priced. The photos on the website do not do justice to the Lodge. Overall it was a hassle free relaxing trip. We will definitely be returning.

Lovely environment and atmosphere but service and food had a lot to be desired. Wine tasting was good as well as the tour. Ordered the prime rib dinner and it came out cold. Girlfriend ordered Caesars salad with salmon and it never came out. Mine was delivered about 10 minutes before her no show meal. Very disorganized. It is the largest winery in Kentucky, but definitely needs better staffing. Very disappointed in the service. Will probably never go back.

Absolutely beautiful vineyard great wine but terrible customer service. I gave this two stars due to the fact we made a reservation for a one night stay in a estates room at 11 pm that night all smoke detectors started going off. This happened seven more times. Finally at around 8 am we were able to reach someone from the office. Upon checkout i was really disappointed that we werent offered a compted stay, free meal, discount or something.

We stayed at the B&B in the Estates for two nights. This is a beautiful place and wonderful retreat weekend. The scenery was amazing. Breakfast was great- basic continental, but they offered freshly made waffles and quiche as well. The room was fabulous, bed very comfy and spacious room. The tour of the winery was ok, but the lady who was leading it has only been working there a few months. The wine was great as well. HIGHLY RECCOMENDED!

My girlfriend bought me the special they had going on for Christmas! We WERE NOT disappointed! This place was amazing and peaceful!!!! We have already said were going back!!! We enjoyed our time there. Wine was great, food was great, staff was great, room was great! Just all great!!! I highly, HIGHLY recommend this place for just a two day get away for some relaxing time in the country side! Thank you Elk Creek for an amazing time!!!

Ive gone to Elk Creek for lunch or dinner and the experience has always been wonderful. The views are amazing and the facility is absolutely gorgeous. They offer a variety of wine (some of the best Ive had) and the food is always delicious. Ive never been disappointed! Staff is extremely friendly and seem to go above and beyond to ensure that guests have a really great experience. Highly recommend Elk Creek

Medium well = bleeding, well = pink through out. Ran like. Subway sandwich shop. You order and pay up front, run to bar for drinks, then you pay up front and if you add tip using card you are pretipping.. Our tip was $10 for my wife and I , however the waitress brought our food and never came back. Beautiful building and good wine though. Just needs to have service to match the bill.

Came here for the wine tasting on a Monday afternoon. Wine tasting room is really nice and the ambiance was wonderful. Our bartender was extremely helpful and friendly. The wines that we tasted were really good. The scenery surrounding the winery is beautiful and tranquil. We were too late for the tour but was satisfied and pleased with our visit.

We had a great time the food was good the wine was good we really enjoyed the fire outside on the deck while listening to great music. Everyone there was very helpful informative and pleasant. We will be back!!!

We stayed at the estates lodging at Elk Creek and were very pleased! It is very clean and well kept. The breakfast is great! There is also free wifi and good cell phone reception at the estates!

Enjoyed the wine! I even worked remotely for a bit looking out over the vineyards. The trap shooting nearby was a bit disconcerting at first, but I stopped noticing it quickly.
