BEST dry red blend made in Kentucky!! Black Barn only makes one wine a year (so of course the selection is limited), and if you dont like dry red wines, you wont like Black Barn wines. The vintner did a great job telling his story, and the prices for a bordeaux style red blend using grapes from California is unbelievable (compare to over $40 bottle for similar wines in restaurants and stores)!! Black Barn is by appointment only, so everyone knows what wines are available when they call for a visit. If you want so spend a fun day out visiting wineries, and you enjoy a wine tasting experience put Black Barn Winery on your list!

Black Barn embodies the Kentucky spirit... The owners are sweet and personable. The property is breathtaking; it sets the mood for the whole experience. And the wine is uniquely flavored, theres nothing that taste quite like this blend. You can tell a lot of time and care goes into the process of creating Black Barn Wine. Its a red, but not dry. The perfect compliment to almost any meat meal. Personally, I like my Black Barn Wine paired best with pepper rubbed steak. Youve got to try it!

Lexington Barn Hunt

Black Barn Winery is a lovely and responsive venue. We hold several events per year there. Caroline and Collin are lovely hosts, responsive to the needs of both me and my guests. Love this place (and I dont even drink!)
