Absolutely love the Cheri Theatres. I have been a patron there for well over a decade, I love their prices, the cleanliness of their establishment and the friendly staff. However, I hope theyll help fortify the exercise of Free Speech and show the Interview despite threats. I noticed on their website they said they wouldnt be showing it. Now some theatres in the US will be showing it and I hope Cheri joins these real American institutions and allow the good folks of Calloway County to enjoy the comedy stylings of Seth Rogen and James Franco.

I absolutely hated it. Kids snickered and laughed the entire time, they were on their phones, and a couple brought their baby to the movies so it cried majority of the movie. The guy that cleans the theaters after the movie kept coming in and out of the door and was a major distraction. Nothing was done about the disruptions no refund or anything to compensate for a horrible experience. A total waste of my time and money and I will never be back here again. I would advise others to not come here

I love this theater. Small, family owned venues pretty much disappeared with the advent of the mega theaters and that is a loss for those that never got to experience them. No glam or eye catching infrastructure inside or out. The prices for the movies and the food is more than reasonable and represents the value of small business efforts. The theater is comfortable, the screens are huge and the sound is state of the art. One of the bonuses of having moved to Murray last year.

I love the Cheri; its a Murray tradition - and the only game in town. However, I have to agree with many and say that the seats are very uncomfortable. If youve got any kind of arthritis or back issues, its just tough to sit through a film here. However, I still love the management and staff. Its clean, and even the popcorn is always great! (Perhaps its time to invest in some new seating and fix the A/C. Its almost always a little too warm in the theatres, too.)

To the girl at the ticket booth, if you do not want people to ask what you are reading. do not leave your book out in view of others. "I dont have time to explain it, you just need to get to your movie." really is not the thing to say to anyone. I have been in customer service for 20+ years and I find this rude and disrespectful. Other than that, the theater is very nice.. clean and prices are what they are.

The popcorn is absolutely horrible because it is COLD, stale and has too much salt. I agree, t he hosts do come in and check a lot to police the patrons, which is rather distracting. However, the theater is always clean, movie theater nice and new and comfortable but that popcorn leaves a lot to be desired!

Theater rooms extremely small, and very uncomfortable chairs, and food is way to dam high,5.00 bucks for a soda? And 5.00 bucks for a pop corn? If you have 2 kids and 2 adults expect to spend between 60 to 70 dollars, I will go to calvert drive in for now on.

Wonderful service will not go to any other theater in Western Kentucky. If we are oot of town we drive home to Murray to watch new movie releases. Because this theater is second to none. Price is great, service is wonderful, very clean, and polite workers.

other than the seats being small for a large person, the theatre and people are great, comparable pricing to other theatres. My days off are during the week and I do wish they did matinee times then also. I would recommend this to anyone.

Volume was to low for Star Wars. Like really really low. I mentioned it to an usher be he did nothing even though he said he would. Dolby digital plaques all over the place but it doesnt mean anything if you play the movie at half volume.

Only movie theater in Murray. Not bad seats or screens I usually dont like how they pick and choose which movies they show and how long they keep them. I wish Murray could support a 2nd theater so there could be a little competition.

Prices are WAY too high. And teenagers/kids are known to snicker and talk in the theater during the movie. Very annoying. Something should be done about these kids.

Sound quality is not surround sound, during High action films the sound is almost non legible, the picture is not HD quality either they definitely need to upgrade
