Terrible Experience, Management, & Facility! I decided to purchase a Groupon for this gym this spring and I should have been tipped off by the timeframe: they were requiring that the Groupon be used within three months. So I go to use it in late June early July and I discover that for 2 of my 4 week membership they have more than 1 construction project planned and this caused each facility under construction to be closed! This included the pool and Group fitness classes: all of which were supposedly included in my membership. They also cancel a few different classes during the summer due to lowered participation… (A big part of why I bought the membership was for kick boxing: which was not available during my entire membership.)The tanning facilities are absolutely disgusting, their staff claims they clean the beds but every time I went into a room there was no sign indicating the bed had been cleaned, so I would have to walk back to the front desk where they would use the same towel over and over to wipe down the bed! (Why wouldn’t we just wipe someone’s skin disease all over multiple beds?!) I was also supposed to get 3 personal training sessions as well and during my first session my personal trainer also made it very clear that I was wasting his time because I was a Groupon customer and he even tried to end our 30 minute session when we had 12 minutes left! Then he insisted that he call me to schedule our next and he never called me again. Finally during my introduction to the place their staff told me I would get a massage with my membership, and after I attempted to schedule one I was informed that was not the case either. I emailed management to notify them of my many bad experiences, (in a polite manner) and my trainer was the one to follow up with me and while he did apologize for his attitude during our session and he did not address my other concerns and actually asked for more information about the tanning issue. I followed up with him to give him the requested information and to let him know that I appreciated his apology but I just did not want to work with him any further. He never replied to me, I emailed him again to make sure he got the message and he never replied to me! I emailed Frank Santana the Owner/Operator and he finally replied telling me that he thought everything had been dealt with. I replied to him and explained how it hadn’t been and pointed out all of the issues still at large. I finally told him that I expected a refund because it is terrible to work with them and he has still yet to reply. What an idiotic way to run a business! The worst part of it is I bought the Groupon to truly test the place out because I live so close, it could have been a real contender. I’m just lucky I didn’t have a full blown membership to try to cancel; and my next step will be to contact the BBB to get my refund. Do yourself a favor and read all of these reviews before trying this place, all of the dirtiness and poor service is obviously this facility’s standard! Buyer Beware!

I believe a 1 star rating is generous for this place. I arrived at Seven Flags Event Center at 7:30 and had to wait in line outside for a little over an hour to pick up my tickets at will call. I missed the first opening act and Im sure many people missed both opening acts since there were still hundreds of people in line when I finally got in. Upon getting to the door it seemed the hold up was that there was ONE security guard checking IDs and giving wristbands to people and two women searching through stacks of paper to find tickets. Since there was not a print at home option for these tickets I understand that more people were using will call than usual. However, Seven Flags was well aware of how many people would be picking up tickets at will call but still did nothing to remedy the situation. I have been to many concerts and have never witnessed such an unprofessional atmosphere. It seemed like there were no actual employees and they had simply found ten random people to work a sold out concert. I am shocked that they are able to call this place a venue. I will never return to Seven Flags Event Center and I strongly urge no one else to, no matter how much you like the artist playing.

7 Flags seems to have learned from the debacle 9 months ago. I was there for the Kip Moore concert tonight and showed up a few minutes after the doors opened to find the line around the corner but quickly processed inside. There were "beer fairies" to provide bracelets to people at the back of the very long ID line, separate from the ticket line. HOWEVER, and thats a big however, the bouncers/event staff didnt care at all about underage drinking or (most importantly) altercations occurring in the crowd. I tried multiple times to lead someone to where the fight was happening, but he never followed. I told him details but he misremembered them. Also, there is only one non-smoking bathroom (the rest were port-a-potties in the smoking area), and in order to leave the venue one must pass the large outdoor smoking area. This did not mesh well with my allergy to cigarette smoke. All in all, I will not be revisiting this venue unless it is one of my favorite artists, in which case I will pregame heavily to stomach the filth and violence that are tolerated by 7 Flags.

Tonight, I drove 600+ miles from North Dakota to see a band I havent seen in a decade. We arrived at the venue around 6pm to try and pick up our will call tickets, we were told that we had to wait until the doors opened at 7. We came back at 7, with the line blocks long. The first band started at 8pm. It took us until well after 9pm to get inside, and two of the three bands had already finished playing. No apology from the venue. No offer for a partial refund or even a free drink ticket. No mention of the fact that hundreds of people missed seeing bands they paid good money to see. No mention of the fact that I missed 2/3 of a concert I drove all day for. Nothing. This is the most unacceptable performance from a venue I have ever seen. Saying "we had a lot of people with will call tickets" is not a justifiable excuse. The show has been sold out for months, they knew the numbers to expect. They should have been prepared. This venue has some serious PR work to do after tonight.

I have never felt inclined to write a Google review before until now but I feel as if my two cents needs to be said. I attended the Brand New and Circa Survive concert at Seven Flags on April 25th, 2015. I paid for my tickets months in advance and chose to pick them up at will call. This was a huge mistake. I arrived at the show about 40 minutes before it started (20 minutes after doors opened) and proceeded to wait in line, along with several hundred other people, for a little over an hour to receive my tickets. Because of this, I missed the opening act. Disregarding the poor management and unacceptable long line, the concert venue itself is quite abysmal. It is hardly a concert venue at all, but rather a glorified gymnasium with mediocre acoustics. Needless to say, I will not be returning to Seven Flags Event Center in the future for any event. I am not exaggerating when I say this is the worst venue I have ever been to in my life.
