I will NOT be playing at Eagle Pines again ! Our foursome was approached on the 8th hole by the "course ranger", who I might add was the same person on the cash register inside the clubhouse, and stated that she had complaints of slow play by our foursome, failure to allow twosomes to play through, and driving our golf cart up to the greens in cart restricted areas. This course ranger said we would have to speed up our play or pick our balls up and go the the next hole. Poppycock to all counts ! We finished our front 9 in and hour and a half ! We twice offered the twosome behind us to play through and they declined to do so both times ! The truth is tee times were most likely overbooked and the natives were getting a little restless ! I paid my money to play a round of golf and I dont want to be harrassed by any "golf Nazi". If you are looking for a nice golf course for a relaxing round of golf, you need not consider Eagle Pines !

Just read a few other reviews from not too long ago that described the course condition as "excellent". Clearly this individual hasnt played many decent courses. This place is in awful shape. The design is ridiculous. Every green is almost totally surrounded by dirt and cart tracks. Its ok for the money but honestly I seriously doubt Ill go back. This was like trying to play golf on a forrest. Theres challenging, and then theres poorly designed. This place is the latter.

Great course with some challenging water holes. A wide variety of skills play here, so you might end up behind some slow players. Peaceful location slightly off the beaten path. Staff is friendly, not pompus, and the price is reasonable.

Great course, and very reasonably priced. Ive been golfing here 10 years and have never had a bad experience. Everyone is incredibly friendly and the course is well maintained. As it says on the website, it is a hidden gem!
