Been there 3 times over the past 2 months. Tee box grass way too long, needs cut. Greens are better than average, could be cut shorter as well. Rough was terrible, not because it was long, but around the greens there was brown dead grass from not being cut. Lost 2 balls on the same hole 15 yards from the green, very frustrating. It sounds like 1 guys is trying to keep the course up, but probably need more help. Bunkers had water in them and not kept up, obviously. Has great potential, but for the way it is now, probably wont go back until they clean it up more or lower green fees to around $20. If your going to charge $40, it needs to be kept up better. Nothing spectacular, but you cant have dead grass laying around the greens and pools..... 2 months the later after I posted, the course is in great shape. Thanks for listening to the customers. Lower price, cut tee boxes, sand looked great, rough maintained better. Been out 2 times since initial post

I am giving 5 stars to reflect how far this course has come over the last few years. Being the closest course to my house, I had tried playing here about three times 2-4 years ago. Every time I was so disappointed I left before finishing 18. Three weeks ago my friend and I got a hot deal on golf now and decided to give it a go again. I had heard there was new management. Though not perfect, it was night and day! Tee boxes - good, fairways - good, rough - rough, sand - very good, greens - perfect, staff - very friendly. Great comeback gentleman! I look forward to playing your course often in the near future.

As other reviewers have noted, this course is under new management and they are investing heavily into it. We played a couple weeks ago and the greens were in superb condition. Next up on the list are the bunkers and redoing a few tee boxes (should be completed within the next couple months). The course has some incredible views and challenging holes. I really love playing this course and am excited to see it returning to its glory days when the patio at the turn had the grill going, cold beer, and was full of patrons.

This golf course is undergoing renovations, but the new owner has invested heavily on the greens and it shows. He also said that by May they should have the bunkers up to par. All this course lacks is some TCL, and moving forward it should get it. Great elevation changes, beautiful scenery, and some good golf, what more can you ask for? I highly recommend you give it a shot. Cant wait to see it in a couple months!!!!!

Nice golf course for the price. It sounds like new ownership has really put a lot of work into the greens (which were very soft) and tee boxes. My only complaints were no water coolers on the course, no yardage markers, and the fairways needed to be cut. Other than that, a solid place to play for $40

Course not well maintained, staff could be a lot friendlier to paying customers.. Was told by a worker on the driving range "if you dont like it, dont come back..." Needless to say I wont be back. TONS of better options for a good round of golf in the middle TN area and less pricey at that.

My husband loves to play here as it is very close to home for us but it is also well maintained! The course has come under new ownership over the last and has been making some good changes and the course is definitely improving! The course itself is beautiful and still quite challenging!

Greens were in great shape for Feb., but faster than a walnut rolls off a hen house. And for the player who needs a wide open course, might want to reconsider as there are many many nice homes lining the fairways. But the course was in great shape. Had a blast.

Beautiful course. They have put a lot of time and money into the course recently, and it shows. The carts are new. The greens are in superb shape considering its February. The staff is very accommodating. I look forward to playing this summer.

Awesome staff took the time to tell us a littl history about the place! Beautiful scenery! Greens are nice, fairways still need a little work, but theyre doing a nice job on the refurbishing. I would definitely recommend it to my friends.

The course is well maintained, we even saw a fox on the front 9. Nice staff, seems like they are putting in the work needed to make the club house beautiful again. Plans for new restaurant in 3 weeks!

Really 4 and a half stars. Excellent layout you have to play every shot. Could use a little work on a couple of greens but overall will play it often. Definitely recommend playing there.

I love the course great fairways and greens but I just call trying to get a tee time on a 70 degree weekend and they are closed till around new year

Lots of potential, but not good. greens need a cut. Fairways need some tlc. Bunkers washed out over entire course. All in all about $15 over priced for the condition.

Great group of guys working here. Still have some work to do in restoration of the course, but they are doing a great job. Challenging course, I will go back to play.
