Staff was friendly and helpful. Full of suggestions and info. No complaints about them. We chose to stay here since it was top rated on trip advisor for the area. (We now think the reviews are bootleg) Apparently we stayed in the "newer" wing. Walking through the hallways, there were random fold up tables with torn open amazon boxes scattered around. There were also strange bad smells on our way to our room. No apparent source. This was all even stranger since it is a huge place but it seemed desserted. Got in the elevator, which seems to need service by the sound of it, and arrived on the floor our room is on. Once in the hallway it began to get more creepy since the ceilings seem like they are 6.5" tall. Fairly low. Ceilings were same in the room, which seemed clean but vastly outdated, kind of yellowed, and again, creepy. Room reminded me of The Shining for some reason. (I wish we took photos but we decided not to stay and continue driving another 2 hours to another city.) Towel rack is in the shower. -The rack where you store clean, dry towels...its in the tub on the wall. Logical. There is also a dirty, 1990s era push button office wired phone mounted right near the toilet on the wall. Would love to see a forensic report on that beauty. Anyway, the restaurant seemed modern and clean and the staff was great, but will not be staying there ever, no matter what the bs reviews on trip advisor say. Marriot should also rate this lower since it os considered 5 star on their scale.

Weve had our science fiction convention at this hotel for several years now. There are many food choices a short drive away, though only a couple within walking distance. Parking is free and adequate. Theres a pool, hot tub, exercise machines, business center, in-hotel restaurant, and a pleasant outdoor courtyard area. The staff works very hard to make sure our attendees and volunteers feel welcome. They are quick to respond to requests. The rooms are comfortable and functional. Were in a suite this year with a mini fridge, two TVs (with the ability to access your Hulu, Netflix, etc. accounts), a main room with Murphy bed and a separate bedroom with a queen bed. My only caveats are that they use a soap / shampoo / conditioner / lotion brand that is *very* strongly scented, and I dont find it particularly pleasant (the soap claims to be orange and tangerine scented, which sounds lovely, but it isnt, and the scent clings to you), and that there is only a shower, no bathtub. So, Id recommend the hotel, but if youre sensitive to strong scents, bring your own toiletries.

This was a nice hotel. After checking out my son remembered a couple of hours later he left his wallet in the room. We called the hotel and they had his wallet. We returned to the hotel to get the wallet and I told my son to make sure all his things were in there and his money was gone. Whomever was in that room (housekeeping, maintenance) after I checked out took his money and lied to security where they found the wallet. The wallet was never in the drawer so Im pretty sure whomever took the money put the wallet in the drawer. Well I hope it was worth it stealing from my 17 year old son. If your not making enough money GO FIND A NEW JOB. That was very bad that someone did that. If something is lost or left in a hotel room that does not give the staff the right to steal it because its NOT YOURS. Also I heard one of the front desk staff say "its only $15", which that was rude also. I do not care how much it was, its not your money to be taking. Mixed feelings about this hotel but I will probably never stay here again because of what happened.

These guys are terrible. I stayed at this hotel for an event I was attending in the hotel. I booked my room 4 months in advance under a room block the event set up and when I arrived they told me the block was full, when it wasnt at the time I booked, and they tried to charge me triple the amount. And on top of it the 1st floor suddenly became a premium floor and they wanted to charge me extra just for the 1st floor. Who does that?. Cherry on top most of the staff were rude and the maids dont understand what the do not disturb means. The year prior a man had a heart attack during the event and when the EMTs arrived to save his life the hotels defibrillator didnt even work! Save yourself some time, grief, and possibly your own life and stay somewhere different. They dont seem to like large events held at their hotel. Epic fail Marriott. Ill not stay at another one of your hotels!

Not what Ive come to expect from Marriott. The room was very small, the Internet was non-functional and they wanted me to spend time with Mariott tech support... Im a Microsoft Certified engineer the last thing I want to do is talk to customer support on my days off at a hotel. I ended up simply hot-spotting my phone, but I shouldnt have to do that. The pool/hot tub was full of local kids where a couple decided to invite the neighborhood kids to the local hotel. Management should police the amount of guests that a tenant is allowed to stay in hotel. We paid over $150 for a nights stay and I felt like I was staying at a motel 6... The ceilings are only 7 tall in the hallways. I was afraid I was going to scrape my head on the sprinklers. This hotel is really dated...

Arrived around 10pm on a Friday night to find that they did not have a room for our family despite having a reservation booked directly thru Marriott. They had a record of the reservation and it had not been cancelled but no room was available. After checking around they found a hospitality suite with a Murphy fold down bed and eventually after 2 requests provided 2 rollaway beds for our daughters. We finally got in bed around 11:30. Not exactly the level of surface that I expect from Marriot. The staff was friendly and polite, but when I make a reservation I expect to have a room waiting for us especially when we know we will be arriving late. Nice enough hotel but I couldnt recommend it unless you know youll be arriving early.

I started off as just a convention attendee here, but ended up spending the night. I had locked my keys in my trunk, & had an almost dead phone battery. 2 staff at the front desk were extremely helpful. One of them fished phone #s for locksmiths off their computer, and another let me use their desk phone to make calls. Its worth mentioning that the hotel was plenty busy at the time & I wasnt an official guest yet. I realized the locksmith situation was going to take some time so I checked in. Room was fine, great pillows & comforter, and the hotel has a nice pool/hot tub. The customer service at the front really was exceptional, & earned a new customer.

If youre here on business, I suggest you to find another hotel because their "enhanced" high-speed internet access is very slow. It takes a few minutes to send/receive in email in your room. My laptop was plugged directly into the wall and Im still getting terrible connectivity. My week here was very unproductive as I was not able to perform my job. Thankfully, as a Marriott Platinum Elite Member, I do not have to pay for the internet, otherwise I would demand a full refund. I probably wont stay here if I come back for business. I would rather stay somewhere else. Its a nice hotel overall if youre traveling for leisure.
