We tried #GoApeUSA for the first time. I am scared of heights and had to talk myself into participating. The only thing that kept me from not going was knowing that you were harnessed in. Staff provides a very thorough training before you begin your adventure. The course is a mix of high rope challenges and zip lines. You have to make it through the challenges before you are rewarded with the zip line. The course is challenging especially if you are not a regular exerciser. This would be difficult for shorter people as some of the steps you have to take are wide. I am 57" and I was concerned about a couple of them. The courses one restriction is that you wear closed in shoes that are not slip-ons. We discovered why. My one suggestion is that unless you can come in from the zip line upright and running, wear long pants. The landing strips are all mulch and could be scratchy. I was scared and exhilarated all at the same time. I screamed, cried and laughed my way through the course. Best of all, I made it all the way through!! This is a great adventure for a team building activity. It may not have totally conquered my fear of heights, but I am not more assured that I can, with the proper safety precautions, handle heights better. I would go back!

Went here for the first time today. The Salt creek trail runs through this park, its a nice paved trail with easy rolling elevation changes. To the south of the creek there are several mowed trails that loop around, these trails are a bit swampy in parts and dont seem to get much use, but make a nice cushioned surface to run on. Nice place to spot some wildlife in the west suburbs.

The paved trail along the river, which goes all the way to the Brookfield Zoo, is the right mix of curves and hills. Attention to your lane is important during busy weekends when some riders go pretty fast for the blind curves. All in all a must do trail. Parking is available at multiple points.

A real walk in the woods, several dirt trails looping together, lots of hills. Muddy conditions dont last after a hard rain it all flows to the Salt Creek. There is a canoe trail on this part too.

Nice running loop here (7.7 mi) and a trail that spreads out to other woods if youd like to go longer. Really nice, gets hilly, occasionally NON- poisonous snakes, and deer.

Quality wood, bike trail. I want to check out go Store next time. Less stars because of DuPage restrictions.
