Ive taken my mother to visit Lambs Farm twice this summer. The first time was for a tent sale, and the second was to simply walk around the grounds, see the animals, and grab a bite at the cafe. My mom is getting on in years, and sometimes struggles with her energy and her memory. But she was very excited to visit, had a lot of fun meeting the tent sale vendors (she was very much in her element shopping - ha), and had nothing but wonderful things to say about our service at the cafe and about the staff in general. The animals, and the horses in particular, reminded her of her childhood growing up in Colorado, and we had the pleasure of her memories/stories for months after.. Thank you for providing a wonderful, relaxed and relaxing environment, away from the bustle. Ill continue to happily support what you do, not just for the opportunities you provide for your participants, but also for the simple fact that everything you do is of very high quality, and hard to find anywhere else.

My Wife and I recently visited with our 21 month old daughter, we had never been before but we absolutely loved the place! We stayed for 4 hours we had so much fun! Admission was very reasonable and on top of that we had a groupon so it was a really great value! Our daughter loved being in with the goats. We also stopped by the cafe and had a really great lunch! The train was also a favorite. On top of all that the organization is a great cause! The only reason I didnt give Lambs Farm 5-stars is that it is in bad need of paint and some updates but other than that it was outstanding!

Compared to Santa village on Dundee road, the admission charge were very low. Just for farm yard visit and mini petting zoo, it was $5 which I found reasonable. The animals and cages were not clean but they were not very dirty as well. They have roasters hens and peacocks in one cage. Next to it was sheep and goat and one baby donkey. Next to it was horses and pony. That was all as far sad my limited visit is concerned. My overall experience with this farm was just below average. I do not recommend this farm to friends and families.

Took my daughter there yesterday to the farmyard and had a very memorable experience. Will be back for sure to the farmyard and to check out the thrift store and other attractions. Daughter has an interest in persuing vet medicine and thought it would be a good idea to get her used to being around farm animals. It is close to home (Mundelein) and know will be visiting often. Have plans to take my wife there next. No, not to see if they will take her in...just to visit. :)

We went on $5 everything day and enjoyed our visit with this great value. The mini-golf course fun and well-kept, the cafe offers a variety of food choices for a reasonable price (2 people with an app was only about $30), the visitor center as well as the store and thrift shop were both enjoyable and well-staffed. We bought a couple feed bags for $1 each and were able to feed the animals as well. Our experience was very enjoyable and Im sure well visit again.

Great place for taking your toddler to learn how to treat and feed farm animals. The animals seem very well cared for and I liked that. My son loved the place and had a lot of fun in the mini golf course, although the train ride and carousel were closed for maintenance. The food at the Magnolia Cafe and Bakery was very very tasty and surprisingly affordable. All in all, definitely a place Id like to visit again and will recommend to other people

We took our 2 1/2 year old here today, and the place was disgusting. I have never seen such filth in one place. My husband commented as well. We were both so saddened by the conditions these animals were being kept in, we could not enjoy the time with our daughter. Animals are messy, but the standing using and feces was overwhelming. The horse was in a tiny stable, with its head down in a pile of feces. So disappointed.

I was there yesterday. The flys were horrible. Thoes poor animals. Ive been to farms before but ive never seen the fyls so bad. You could see that they were being munched on. The whole farm area needed to be poop scooped. Thats my biggest concern. Second, up keep and paint job in the farm area. The other buildings are fine. The restaurant looks nice. But dont neglect the animals. It name is Lambs Farm.........

We got here right before closing so we couldnt stay long, but the staff was great, the farm seemed to be well laid out, and most importantly the animals were happy and seemed to be really well taken care of. I hope we can come back soon and spend more time here!

We went on a school day, after the schools had started up again. We found a relaxed atmosphere with a calmness-first, efficiency-second approach. Take your kids, get there at 12, and switch off for an afternoon. Its great.

I had a blast at the Fun & Family Day 5K race in June. Great to see so many people enjoy the run, no matter if they were well trained or not, and then have fun at the party.

Great people, wonderful food, and lots to do. Lambs Farm is a place where adults with intellectual disabilities are able to not only grow, but thrive.
