11/08/14 about 11:15 p.m. Horrible service at the door from the moment I stepped into this place being the first time there. Went to meet my friends there walked from the train station and upon entering I was asked for id. The for guard took my Id and waved his manger over and they rudely asked me where I was coming from and I said I walked from the train her look at my id again like five times and they let me in. Got a beer and meet my friends and they decided to go out and smoke right when I came so I left my jacket and went to go outside and asked for a hand stamp to reenter. Went outside for five minutes and tried to reenter and the door guard said I cant come in because Im too intoxicated and walking funny, mind you I have s spinal and knee injuries thats why I am walking funny not because in n drunk. I said what I just came here straight from my house and havent even drank 1/5 of my beer and the guy said sorry so I said can I get my coat and he said No I cant go in. I told him you cant keep my coat and he said I gotta get my manager and so he came over and I explained to him the situation and you said Im sorry I cant let you win because Im drunk I said I havent even finished the beer so I said can we just get my coat so he said oh okay so then he took me in and then you can stay and you can be mad at him cuz the guy was just doing his job so I dont smell drunk I dont look down I havent even had one beer so hes like oh well he just had to do his job the guy didnt offer no apology no nothing and he was just rude so I had my beer and finished it and I left. That will be v the last time I go there.

Do not go here! I warn you. I took my brother here for his bday since hes become a fan of bowling recently. For 4 people to bowl 2 game and rent shoes, it came out to $85!! What a joke!! Any other bowling place on the planet would be half that price. I ignored the price since its his bday. When we get to the lanes, theyre so dimly lit that you just barely see where you throw the ball. Afterwards, the ball gets stuck at the end of the lane and takes forever to come back, if at all. So we got fed up and asked to move to a different lane. The next lane was worse as it would randomly spit out pins on the second throw of the frame. I ordered a small cheese pizza which was hysterically tiny and tasted so gross that the size didnt matter. My brothers gf ordered a margarita and was disgusted when the rim seemed to be covered in what looked like brown sugar and it tasted so bad she could not get herself to finish it. It was about 9:10 when i bought the second game and thought I wouldnt be totally ripped off because there was a sign saying 3rd game is free. The cashier told me that only applied if both games were bought after 9pm. I just bit my tongue and played our 2nd game. As we were leaving, there had to be at least one more middle finger to us as my brothers gf got accidentally charged for another lanes tab (which will be refunded in 3 days). I never knew I could hate a place with such a passion. If theres anything you get out of this review, I hope its that you should never step foot in this place!

I was supposed to work on Valentines day but last minute, I was given the night off. I needed to find a place quick and Kings came up on a random google search for " last minute valentines day reservations". I was very leery at first because I thought it was "just a bowling alley" and that my girl would shake her head at me. Turns out, its a super nice place and a lot of fun. The decor was really nice. The food is not "bar food." The food was amazing. You would be hard pressed to find better wings and the Elvis burger was delicious. My wife had calamari and a 4 cheese pasta dish. We were stuffed. Drinks were priced right. Literally everything we ordered was great. We didnt have to go find something to do afterwards because their was shuffle board, bowling reserved for us, and pool tables. I usually go somewhere fancy on V Day like Mortons, Capitol Grill, or Gibsons but for what? The food was every bit as good, it was a ton of fun and didnt break the bank. My wife was very happy. The place was super military friendly too! This establishment has earned my loyalty. Thanks!

Kings is a great place to bowl, but I feel that there should be more bowling lanes. The wait wasnt too bad for 8 people on a Sunday afternoon, but I cannot imagine how Friday/Saturday nights are. Theyve big screen TVs behind the bar which only plays sports which is nice. The food was okay. I had the King Club Wrap and i felt it was a normal wrap and nothing too special amount it. I also got cajun fries with my order which werent too bad as well. I wish the wrap, burgers, and sandwiches already came with a side though. The mac n cheese bites app, I thought was very small for the price. I would think it would be slightly bigger for $6. Also, Kings dont have their own bowling balls. I remember those bowling balls in old Brunswick bowling alleys. It was hard to find the size of the ball on the bowling ball. I feel that Kings should have their own Kings Bowling Balls. I would probably only come back to Kings to bowl if I had a groupon. I feel that theres more bowling places that are a lot bigger with the same quality of lanes.

Upscale bowling, good food and drinks, fun music and lights. If youre here to perfect your bowling average, youre going to get ticked off. But if youre with a date or group, and are looking to knock down some pins while in a bar atmosphere, then game on. Every couple of lanes is set up like a dining booth with a large table, so you and your friends can enjoy their menu of American cuisine such as artichoke dip, mac and cheese bites, burgers, pizzas, wraps, etc. The also an extended selection of cocktails, martinis, and milkshakes. Look at it this way: instead of going to a bowling alley, where you have drinks and bar food, see it as if youre going out to a club to dine and drink, and there happens to be bowling. Pricing is moderate compared to most bars in the same category, but it is going to be more expensive than a night at your average bowling alley. Low and neon lighting, dance/hip hop/top 40/classic-butt-shaking music, and funny bowling score graphics all make for a casual atmosphere.

Went with a friend here on Friday. My friend asked not to have a stamp placed on his hand. A manager was called and spoke to my friend. I over heard the conversation. I heard the manager argue and make up some B.S. reasons why a stamp on the hand was necessary. Seriously youre going argue with a customer over a stamp on their hand. His excuse was "my staff is trained to look for that". If the staff observed my friend without a stamp then request his Id again. Im calling B.S. again. Ive worked in some of the biggest and best clubs since 1988. That is never been part of the training unless it is for reentry. The patio was closed so its not like someone could step over the little fence to get in. The only way in was through the front door. Who taught this manager customer service. Why would you argue with a customer and turn away business from 2 couples that are clean cut and the average age is about 36. We have money and were not afraid to spend it.
