I went to see Les Miserables at Drury Lane this past week on a Thursday night, and I have to say its a very nice theater and banquet space. It was my first time there, and I never knew that they serve dinner regularly and also have banquet spaces. I live in the city and normally would not venture out to the suburbs for a performance, but I was definitely pleasantly surprised! The theater is not as big as what you find downtown, but it was very clean and charming. The staff is very nice and helpful as well. Parking, of course, is free. During intermission I was able to walk around a bit and look at the other spaces. They have a nice bar area to grab a drink, and also the dinner space is in the open in the middle of main central space. There is a lounge/sitting area off to the side of the bar and dining that is very elegantly decorated. I peeked into the banquet space and they definitely have an elegant decor, so they would be ideal for a wedding, etc. Les Mis, by the way was excellent! The cast and singing talent was first class for sure!

The play was very well produced and performed. Our seats were terrific. The theater was way way TOO COLD. Had this been the winter, the theater would have been closed by the Board of Health. Even men were complaining. Fortunately I had a coat with me or I would have asked for my money back. When I returned after the intermission, the usher said enjoy the rest of the show. I said I will if it is not so cold. He said we have resolved the issue. Not true. Also with everyone filtering in and out through one entrance, it is a hassle. One is not allowed to exit through the side doors which would simplify matters.

We went to a matinee to see West Side Story and absolutely loved it with 1 exception! I felt the sexual scenes were unnecessary!! They werent in the movie and it didnt need to be in here either! I was very disappointed as I knew the 7th grade class at my daughters school had plans to attend the play and the kids were all excited. Then I think an adult went to see the play and said totally not appropriate for anyone under the age of 18. Totally makes me sad as they play was one of the best I had ever seen. Wish they had left the rape and the newspapers through their crotches out of scene. Unnecessary!

Beautiful location & venue but I was disappointed in their high tea service. The pastries were cold and the location was the pass through for staff. They rolled food carts by for other rooms & the bar cart for the lobby. Also looked liked the staff checkout room was behind the kitchen doorway and they passed by our table consistently. Huge distraction, for the cost this should be in a private dining room away from the staff traffic.

Beautiful space. We had a major fundraising event there in November 2016 and everything was perfect. The staff was friendly, kind, patient and helpful. The ballroom was gorgeous and accommodated 460 people for a seated dinner with a big stage, cameras,rigs, and multiple projection screens (we had them brought in). The beef wellington was excellent. Overall amazing space and would highly recommend for any major event/wedding

Went for a wedding... The banquet is pretty but Ive seen better. Food was served very late, party started at 6 but food didnt come out till 9:20 And when it finally came we had to wait like 20 minutes in between soup, salad, and main course... Further more service sucks.. I had to wait like 15 minutes to get a spoon, I got tired of waiting so got up and got it my self. Also dance floor was very small.

Attended a wedding. The room and space was very clean and elegant. The waitresses were very disrespectful with their service. Upon serving the items, our food was tossed on the table. High elegant place worth the price but waitresses should be retrained to be polite. They act like they do not want to be there so why make it miserable for us the ones that chose to be there.

Ive been seeing theater here for years, and they always do a great job with the performance and execution of their shows for a very reasonable price compared to downtown. Granted, the shoes they pick are sometimes a bit dated but they cant all be Hamilton. I cant really speak to the banquet or restaurant as Ive only ever seen plays here.

Having my wedding here 7/13/13. Paint, carpet and furniture are all being redone. Kara has been very pleasant to work with. This is by far the best bang for your buck with great service. I have been here previously as a guest of a wedding about 4 years ago and the food is good.

Wonderful place to be! My family goes to the performances there regularly. Theyre not just for retired folks! The staff is so friendly and when we do eat there, the food is absolutely amazing! We usually do vallet parking too and theres never any issues! No complaints here!

Disappointing! Room dimly lit/no windows. ONLY one tea flavor allowed. Finger sandwiches were ordinary. For $30 a person? Really? OK, one glass of champagne was included & our server was nice. Ive been to High Tea before -- this is NOT High Tea, Lucille.

My family always purchase "season tickets" (every year). Love the plays, cozy place, great staff. Ive been seeing broadway theater and plays here for decades... great food, great staff, and the shows are usually amazing.

A beautiful dining hall and theater. Have seen multiple stage shows/musicals here as well as attended a fundraiser and wedding reception here as well. Always has been a pleasure and the food was always excellent.

This is by the far largest conference/dinner space in DuPage County. Pricing can get high depending on the event but theyll work with you on any issues you may have. The staff and managers are very accommodating.

Went to the brunch buffet. Not a bad buffet. Its no Vegas buffet, but it served its purpose of adding 5 lbs to the scale. Its on the nicer side - and is probably more popular for its shows than its food.

Awesome place. My company have our all staff meeting there every year. The building is amazing, the food is great. Lots of parking. Friendly staff. Looking forward to go there this year.

Love coming to Drury Lane....The shows are always very well done, and there isnt really a bad place to sit. Seen many shows here, and its the go to spot for quality theater in the West Burbs.

Broadway plays are always spectacular. Atmosphere is very festive around the holidays. Valet service is top notch! Excellent restaurant. Offer childrens theatre too. Highly recommended!
