Definitely rating This PUPPY IN A WINDOW place Zero stars. First its super hot in there and that cant be good for the pets! Second they have there pets out walking around and God forbid you pet one of them before the employee rudely tells you not too! Im sorry isnt this supposed to be a friendly pet place?!? If you dont want the animals being petted then dont have them there at all! Thirdly maybe an employee who has Good Customer service skills will help the business! not someone who is more concerned in disciplining the customers then actually helping them. Like telling a one year old to keep there feet off the bench as he was trying to sit on it.... auhh yeah try again lady, will definitely not be returning not only for there horrible customer service skills but also for there super high prices. Its about finding a puppy a good home at a reasonable price. Not over pricing them to a point where you have to financially put them on a credit card in order for the store to make a profit.

My wife and I purchased a puppy from this store. He had been at the store for months and had a parasite in his feces. Thankfully, we caught this in time, and Petland paid for it, but it has been months and my puppy still cannot be rid of this parasite. He had this infection before we bought him and had had several rounds of the medication. Petland never informed us of this. When I asked them, they got off saying, "You got the vaccination records and the medications given were listed on it." This was true, but if you are not a vet (which I am not), you usually do not know what the medication is for. Secondly, since I brought this infected puppy to my house (where I have another dog), now I have to get my other dog checked, which Petland refused to cover. My puppy also came with an interesting "cough." Originally, I did not pay any mind to it and didnt report it to the vet. It is kennel cough and Petland refuses to cover the vet costs. I do not recommend buying from here ever.

I give this place 0 stars. I highly dont recommend buying a puppy from here. I bought a puppy months ago and she still isnt house trained. she pees and poops all over our house. she also pees and poops in her cage. weve tried everything to get her trained. and now she is starting to pee on our couch and on our beds. Ive tried talking with the people at petland and they refuse to do anything. she is getting too old to be doing this. She has destroyed the carpet in our house which is going to be very costly to either clean or replace. When I got her she ended up getting kennel cough. She also has diarrhea all the time. This has been a horrible and costly experience. dont buy from them. I also did some research on them and found out that the dogs they get are from puppy mills and have been citied many time.

Came in very interested on buying a pet thinking this place would be better then pet land...turns out I was WRONG. The place overall has an unhealthy smelling environment the minute you walk in. I understand its a pet store but it can def be kept up with a little better. Also very poor customer service skills, the girl working there was very rude and expected for customers to not pet the freely walking animals, which is kinda sad because youd think that the reason that theyre walking around so freely is so they can have some type of interaction with the customers however I guess thats not the case. Really hope that each of those pets can find a loving & caring home after all that should be the main concern of a pet store.. right?

Petland is always the place to go for quality customer service and friendly associates. They get the job done, have amazing displays with a wide variety of animals and pet supplies. Ive seen the information and Ive looked up the registered breeders. The puppies arent from puppy mills. Some pet stores might get their puppies from mills but not this store. The puppies are all happy and healthy and dont stay their long. They also keep them and lower their prices until the puppy goes home. The puppies come with free spay/neutering AND theyre microchipped. Ive worked at several shelters over the years and humane societies and trust me, these puppies are better off there than they are at the shelters or even in certain peoples homes.

The person who mascots is a very nice person. They are paid for their work, and have a cooling vest on while theyre outside. They are given free water and as much as they want. They can also take as many breaks as they want, as frequently as they want. Not only that, the animals are very well taken care of. The puppies come from trustworthy and reputatble breeders, not puppy mills! The people who spread those lies are doing more damage than they are helping their cause! Yes, some puppy shops get their dogs from puppy mills and it is truly sad...But not this place! The owner is very passionate about her animals, and is very ANTI puppy mill! Get your facts straight before you judge someone!

This is the worst thing I ever done buying a dog from Petland on Larkin and Rt. 30. We got her in August of 2015; she is not even the breed they told me she was, she sheds like crazy when she wasnt supposed to shed at all, she also had an intestinal parasite, the first week I bought her the vet find out. She eats her own poop, and I havent been able to stop that from her completely. We pay over $1000 for her and if it wasnt cause we are so much in love with her she would be gone from my house. Our first time buying a Dog and its been a really horrible experience. Dont recommend anybody buying pets from there at all.

I usually always come here for crickets because they have giant crickets that my lizard loves. I usually have to hunt down an associate to get them for me but tonight I had two different associates completely ignore me. One walked past me three times, making eye contact all three times and failed seemingly on purpose to acknowledge me as a customer. I guess puppy sales are more important than just any paying customer. I went to PetsMart for my crickets and I will continue to do so because even though they were also very busy assisting other customers I was still taken care of quickly and by a friendly associate.

I wish i could give this place a zero. You walk in and it smells of urine and of course i understand pet shops can smell but it was disgusting. The lady working there was extremely rude to the roaming dog "Snuggles" he was barking and she kept yelling "Shut up snuggles" ! Also one of the dogs paws were soooooo badly licked i can assume from stress ! I asked the lady about it she said the pup is on a cream he had abrasions. Why isnt the pup in a cone then because the entire time i was there he wouldnt stop licking his paws. The fish tanks are gross. I literally walked out of this store wanting to cry !
