Ive been bringing my dog here since before it opened in this spot.... This is really a great dog park as long as your dog is socialized with other dogs. All breeds and sizes come here and they all get along 99% of the time. However some people forget that this is a DOG park, not a place for your kids to run around & climb on the trees and who havent been taught how to approach someone elses dog. The park is well maintained by a group of really nice people, but try to remember to bring bags with you... and to clean up after your dog.

Compared to the Portage Park dog park this place is pretty filthy. The layout of the park is pretty terrible and makes it seem smaller than it actually is. Some of the trees should be removed to open up the space. The people that go here arent always very nice, few folks think they run the place and have this bully mentality. Even though I live near this park now I very much prefer going to Portage.

The city and the Norwood Park Dog Owners Association got this one right a great dog park with sun and shade. They have a couple of kiddy pools they fill with the hose, that always seems to be running. The doggies love it. The owners kinda self police the over aggressive, or over the top excitement of the four legged persuasion.

Overall had a great experience. My dog loves it there and the park is clean. A lot of bags available and in a nice neighborhood.
