My friends and I love the Final Door! We’ve done all of the rooms in the Columbia Metro area, and the Final Door consistently has the most immersive and challenging rooms available. The owner/manager creates all the rooms themself, and is always there to talk up what is coming up next and to take feedback once you’ve finished a room. They serve beer and wine and sodas and can leave your drinks for you to “find” in the rooms. The staff is always so friendly, and even better at taking on their roles to make the experience feel real from before you even enter the room itself. Tried out the new Vampyre themed room for a buddies birthday tonight with Rebecca as our game master, and it was even better than the Final Door’s already awesome room experiences. 10/10 would go again. My friends and I can’t wait for them to come up with some new rooms!

Ive done numerous escape rooms at several places and The Final Door has been hands down the best place. My group (of 4) did the Blackout room, and our Game Master Tyler nailed the intro and getting us prepped for the room. Once we escaped from Blackout, we chatted with Tyler some more about how we cant wait to come back and do their newest room Vampyr. They told us they literally went live with Vampyr 20 minutes ago, so we immediately jumped on doing that room right then and there. This time we had another stellar GM in Danny. The immersion you feel in their rooms is unlike any other. Everyone we interacted with there showed extreme professionalism and were really friendly and awesome. They are the real deal. We cant wait to go back!

WOW!!! What an AWESOME experience!! Ive been to a few different escape rooms and had lot of fun but this one is by far the best Ive ever been to!! First, the lobby is not a "Lobby"...its a lounge. Good ambiance, good lighting, good music. They are going to be serving Beer & Wine soon but until then you can bring your own. Then, the Escape room ...Wow. I cant say enough about how cool and clever all the clues were. The theme and story line of the escape experience was consistent yet not repetitive. It was so much fun piecing the clues together. The owners did a great job maki g sure you have fun from the time you walk in the front door till the time you leave. Highly recommend going!! You wont regret it!!

Prior to The Final Door, I had gone to one other escape room experience with a group of seven. It was a fun experience, but basically the place in question picked a theme for the room, threw a bunch of junk in the room, and created some puzzles based on the junk. Very little atmosphere or setup. It was still a fun experience but it felt like an unfocused one that was low budget. By comparison, I went with a group of eight to "The Sacrifice"(standard version) at The Final Door, and without spoiling anything, it was a night and day difference in terms of setup, atmosphere, production values, and focus. The experience was great all-around for the group and lots of fun. I highly recommend The Final Door.

Having been very impressed with "The Sacrifice" previously, myself and a group of friends returned to The Final Door as part of a birthday event to experience "The Vampyr" escape room. Once again, it was a very fun and immersive experience. Our game manager Danny did a very nice job in setting the mood from the start and the room itself was atmospheric and had cohesive, challenging puzzles but not so challenging as to be frustrating. Our group cut it close but managed to beat the room by about four minutes and a great time was had by all. I wholeheartedly recommend The Final Door.

The Final Door has forever ruined my escape room experience because nothing will ever compare! This place is absolutely phenomenal. The owners of The Final Door are very interactive and want to do everything they can to make sure your experience is second to none. They will even hide drinks around your room that add to the fun, I went with a group of four and we ended up going twice in the same day. Both our escape room masters, Tyler and Danny, were great. They helped to fully immerse us in the experience of both rooms that we did. I will make sure to visit The Final Door again!

Went with the boyfriend for an anniversary date. The setup was challenging but doable. The two of us took on "The Sacrifice" just us, and got through it with less than 10 minutes left. The hints are available to you if you need them, but even without them, you never feel truly lost. The production value was nice, and the lounge area at the front was a good way to start. The people are very nice and really care about the experience. For people wanting to go to an escape room, Final Door would be a good place to start!

We celebrated our sons 15th birthday today at The Final Door. Blackout was amazing. This was our 1st escape room experience. The staff was professional and the escape room was awesome. Challenging, but fun. We really enjoyed our time there. Disconnecting from the outside for 60 mins really improves your life and relationships. Thank you for providing such a unique, fun activity. Our son will ALWAYS remember his 15th birthday!!! I highly recommend The Final Door.

Came for a last minute date night. Seems a little pricey but no more than what you would spend on dinner and/or a movie. It was well worth the price and a great experience. The staff made it feel real and fun. It seems like it would be fun with a group or show up and join in with strangers. Its challenging yet very doable with teamwork. We finished it with 28 seconds left. Will definitely do it again when the other themes open up and highly recommend to anyone else.

Mom to EMFH

This was my 2nd (and 3rd) experience with an escape room. I was nervous after the first escape room being kinda meh. But for our girls night we booked the blackout room. Danny was so awesome. It was challenging and fun and spooky. We enjoyed the experience so much we came back the next day to do the sacrifice room. Caroline was enjoyable and I am honestly not sure which room we enjoyed more. I am so excited for the new room to come in august!

Easily the best escape room in Columbia! The rooms are so immersive, the staff are amazing at what they do, and they are always so accomodating. I cant wait for their other rooms to open. The bar they provide is also a wonderful touch and makes the experience more memorable. Definitely recommend this for a date night, or a small group, or something entirely different from the hum-drum things people do all the time!

My cast and I did the sacrifice room as a cast bonding day, and even though I was absolutely terrified I loved every second of it. Our game master, Caroline, made everything so relaxed and fun but when it came time to play; she was ready to really get under our skin and perform well enough to make us believe it wasnt her. She made the whole thing even cooler. Will definitely be going back to do another room!!
