We had a week stay at Tara Cove using RCI points. It was an exceptionally relaxing stay, one of the best RCI properties weve seen. Ms April was a jewel at check in giving us a thorough in brief about all of the amenities. Our two bedroom condo was clean & well equipped. The screened porch overlooking Lake Tara was our favorite place to relax. The amenities include golf, tennis, boating, hiking, swimming, a sandy beach & a recreation center. Villa Rica, just a quick 15 minutes away, is a quaint historic town.

The fairways have crabgrass in them and you can get punished for hitting a ball dead center. Its a shame because its a great layout, if someone put some money into it, it would be a fantastic golf course. Greens are slow but very inconsistent. Is priced more than a good golf course, Oak Mountain, which is in Carrollton.

Absolutely one of the worst golf courses I have played...burnt out fairways, greens were inconsistent as far as speed, huge sections of just nothing but bare lies..the layout is good...but just terrible conditions im a 5 handicap, so it may be me just being picky but I will never go back ever again.

This is a fantastic layout. There has been a major investment made over the past two years. The greens are new bent grass, the fairways are in great shape. Lots of good deals. A fun and challenging course.

The pool at the country club is pretty dirty for what it is.. I would like to see it all cleaned up.. the bottom of the pool is dirty. I had a glob of hair on my hand when I came up in the water.. Yucky

Loved the course, but the sandtraps were hard as clay. A bit expensive as well. As a former employee while in college, it was still in overall great shape!

The food is really great and there is a pool and a golf course. You can even rent a golf cart! There are activities for everyone! I love this place!

The food was ok it wasnt anything great. Their was only one waitress on duty and she had her hands full cause it was the clubs trivia night

Nice secured property with plenty to do. Golf, swimming, boating and fishing to name a few. Excellent country club and marina.
