I had my wedding reception here earlier this month. For the venue, I would give it four stars for location, appealing décor and layout, and wait staff/cook. However, the management I would give one star (because zero is not an option). My mother worked with the manager Kevin the most and told me he could be rude, but that did not prepare me for dealing with him. He was very condescending and continuously cut me and my mother off while we were talking. He talked circles until we were confused. Friday night (the night before the reception), we went there to decorate. The place was filthy. Confetti from a previous event covered the floor. The dance floor was sticky. There were cobwebs (and their spiders) in between chair legs and corners. When we asked Kevin about it being cleaned up, he stated that it would be done after we were done decorating because he stated, "I know you will make a mess and Im not paying to have it cleaned twice". I conceded that this might be reasonable, so I asked when he would be done next day and he replied it would be cleaned by 3pm. At 4:30pm guest began arriving and there is a picture of family with a lady vacuuming behind them. Also, the spider web between the chair legs was still there. I recommend the place only if you can work with someone other than Kevin. The food and drinks were delicious and the wait staff were professional and polite.

I traveled to Michigan for a weekend round of golf with my brothers. We had a tee time for Saturday morning. They allowed three groups of two to go off before us backing up the entire course. We waited an AVERAGE of 10-12 minutes at each hole to tee off and were also delayed in the fairway. Then at the turn, they let another twosome go off the back nine between us and the foursome behind us! The round took over five hours. At the turn we went into the clubhouse for some snacks to find out all they had were hot dogs and some small bags of chips. Add all this to a $40 fee with a cart and a course in marginal shape, its an experience I wouldnt recommend.

Greens were too soft. I hit a lob wedge into #3 green and the ball plugged. Fairways were also too soft but still OK. The bunkers at this course are the worst Ive ever seen, and Ive played everywhere. They are full of rocks, mud and clearly are never raked. The overall condition of this course continues to deteriorate. Its a shame because it used to be pretty nice. The par 4 9th is still a great hole, though.

The food was great! But the waitress was the worst. Didnt have any knowledge of anything we asked. BEER WINE FOOD DRINKS!!! I hope she gets more training. It ruined our night to have a few drinks with company .

I really enjoy playing this course. It is challenging but not impossible. Some bunkers are being taken out and are just weed pits right now.
