Ive played this course a couple of times and like the layout. We typically play from the tips which is 7000+ yds. There are plenty of challenging holes for all skill levels. The greens were in terrible shape but thats common with our current weather conditions. I had one grounds guy yelling at me for driving on the fairway of a par 3. The fact that I own several successful businesses leads me to believe no one has talked with the staff about customer service. There is a correct way to approach that situation and yelling across the course at a customer isnt one of them. The course doesnt seem to be overflowing with customers so it might make sense to run with something to shape up the staff. My experience with the course was good but Im going to try out Reunion because of my encounter with a dis-interested staff. Dont pull the driver on number 12. I was only able to hold the second landing with 1-4 balls.

Nice course, but like others have said, the staff treats the general public like scum. The last time my family and i played there, we had a group in front of us which was playing at a pretty good pace I thought. We were keeping up fine. A guy from the staff came driving up and started watching us. He then said that we had to skip a few holes because we were too slow. He went on to say that there was some big wig representative from the government playing somewhere behind us. He and my cousin got into it, and he threatened to kick us off the course. It pretty much ruined our day. I would give the course 4 stars, and the staff 1 star.

Was looking forward to playing Royal Lakes. Its my course of choice when I come to North Georgia. One of the workers, Meredith, was very rude and unhelpful. It was as if I was inconveincing her just by being there. I will not be back to this course because of that. Which is too bad being that its my favorite one in the area. Poor customer service will lose my business everytime. And the business of my collegues.

Played golf today payed full price for the greens fees. The back 9 greens are trash. This is the second and last time, that I have been charged full price and not warned the greens were un-puttable. The first time I ask about a refund and i was denied. Poor customer relations poor back 9 greens. Never again Royal Lakes, never again.

If you want to make yourself feel like the worst golfer go play royal lakes. Views are nice but the conditions arent very good and the greens are the slowest in Metro Atlanta. The course should be in great shape by how much money your paying to play their, but it seems the money is going elsewhere

Nice course, most holes are short and require a layup. Take your driver, seven iron, and a putter. Everything was in nice shape. The pro shop staff always has a bad attitude when I book through GolfNow.

Beautiful & awesome scenery and very challenging course design.... But greens are probably the worstest I ever played. Ill definitely go back if the greens are fixed...
