I was fortunate enough to get to visit their exhibit on 1950s Atlanta Ranch house architecture. It was such a gem of a show. Tons of info on the growth and changes in suburban Atlanta at the time and such fun photos, magazines, fixtures and entire room setups! The building is quiet and inviting with an old peace to it. Enjoy the craftsmanship of the wood and stone work itself. And check in online every now and then to see whats new in their rotating show spaces.

Visited the archives and museum with five childhood friends from Stone Mountain. Fred Mobley and the ladies on staff were well prepared for us and made us feel welcomed and comfortable. We enjoyed the museum and spent a good two hours here. Thank you for your gracious hospitality. If you grew up in DeKalb County, you will enjoy the visit.
