When you visit or live in Atlanta GA you need to visit this museum. The museums display is very heartfelt and powerful. You are able to speak to the survivors of the holocaust and hear their personal stories. My reason for the 4-star rating was the speaker was too long (, for this type of museum they need a trained orator.

The museum provided a fascinating and detailed history of the Jewish communitys presence in Atlanta. I learned so many things I didnt know before. The exhibit on the Holocaust was very sobering and moving but parts of it may be a little intense for small children. Definitely recommended.

Informative, educational, and fun. The museum offers a variety of permanent and temporary exhibits. It is about so much more than the holocaust. When I went they have a temporary exhibit about the impact of people of the Jewish heritage on comic books and superheros.

Took my grandson to the Sendak exhibit, we both loved it. The Holocaust exhibit was a chance to introduce my eight years old grandson to his history. It made an impact on him and he wanted to know why, how, will it happen again, etc.

I am a history major and I ended up visiting on a field trip. It is very clean and organized, it also has a small gift shop and to finish the entire museum takes about 1-2 hours alone or 1 hour with a tour guide. Very nice place.

A wonderful display of the history of Jewish people in Atlanta and the history of the Holocaust. There was a school group visiting while I was there and the guides did a great job of explaining it to the middle school students

This treasure trove includes sculptures and drawing but the strongest collection is, naturally, of Spanish masterpieces by Goya, El Greco and Velazquez (whose Las Meninas is the best-known work of the museum).
