Hello golf friends, AVOID AT ALL COSTS! Im not a pro nor do I play every weekend so I dont think it is fair for me to rate the course on it turf, layout or the fine items many would prefer while playing. However, I do know a great deal about customer service, amenities and basic green keeping. To be frank, this course was lacking on all fronts. The keepers were very disrespectful, many times yelling at the other groups around us. They also and drove their full size trucks on the course as standard practice - crazy. Looking to enjoy a beer - Not here, the course lost their license. Plus they dont offer water, service... Nothing. The open area and layout was nice. We had 3 carts. they were dated and ran poorly.

The course layout is good, but the quality of the greens was poor with a lot of sand-filled spots on the greens. By the way, the staff was rude. Our group had 4 players, and the group in front of us had 2 players. The group behind was another two-some, and one of the two was a guy named "Nick" who claimed to be the field manager. He approached us on hole #7, and asked us to pick up the pace, but we couldnt understand how we (a group of 4) can possibly catch up with the two-some in front us. Our group finished the entire round in 4 hours and 15 minutes - I have been playing golf for years and I know this is not a slow pace at all. Very rude staff and I definitely wont go back here ever again....

I moved to the area three years ago. People I talked to told me this course was not good, and shortly there after it was closed so they could resurface the greens. I read a few bad reviews after they reopened, so I avoided it. This last weekend I decided to try out the course, and was pleasantly surprised. The greens were smooth and fast, and the entire course was in great shape. The staff was friendly, and the price I paid was a great value for the quality of the experience. If you have avoided this course because of past poor experience, I would suggest giving this gem another try.

Overpriced, terrible service!, greens were awful!, bunkers were inconsistent, no yardage markers anywhere, very bumpy when driving your cart because of terrible cartpath transition to the rough, 5 and half hour round!, dont forget before you play because there is nothing to get but tiny 4 dollar hot dogs. There are so many newer, better designed, better service, better clubhouse with food and bathrooms, course conditions, golf carts, driving ranges, than this washed up waste of space!

I personally think this is one of the best kept secrets in the Atlanta area. The design is typical for a Joe Lee course in having some tight and narrow driving lanes, while other lanes are more open and more tolerate. The layout is challenging, and the greens are some of the best that I have putted on in the area. I believe the green fees are fair and would have actually expected a higher rate based on the course.

I recently moved right across the street from the course and thought I would try it. Needless to say I had a great experience. I try to hit the range 3 days a week and am playing the course again this weekend. FYI Lanier has better greens than Château Élan, at a fraction of the cost.

This is my favorite course for the money. The layout is fair and open with no blind shots or unfair OB. Folks are friendly. Good natural turf driving range and club repair shop. Weekday pace is excellent. Greens are getting better every week.

This place is an absolute dump. The staff is very rude and unfriendly, and to top it off, the greens are diseased. The only reason I tried this place out is because its $10. Take your $10 and play somewhere else. This place isnt even worth it.

Driving range is good and youre hitting off grass, not mats (putting green is often bumpy though). Course is on the low-end (cheap rates, but you get what you pay for).

We played today... Good shape...greens are rock hard...but fast.. Pace of play was 4.5 hours..which was a surprise teeing off at 1230.
