I was disappointed after touring The Garden Chateau. The grounds were far from pristine and the inside of the house had cheap furniture and appeared poorly kept. The outside areas of the property that are promoted with garden names were over run with weeds, had bare/brown spots and where not actual gardens...just areas. I honestly do not believe that they have a gardener or a chemical service. The pool looked as though it needed to be resurfaced and the pool area was dirty and needed to be power washed. The owner actually used her finger nail to scrape off some of an unidentified chunky smear on the sliding glass door in order to try and identify it. She also spent a good part of the time discussing past "problem" brides. All of these issues caused deep concern.

NOT child friendly, literally thousands of mosquitos attacked the wedding, and people were left seatless for over an hour while things were "organized" during the reception. Have no formal event here, for your own sake.

This is a really nice venue to have an outdoor wedding in Florida. The outdoor area and pool are great to hang around. The homes multi level floor plan is also nice for guests to walk about and mingle with each other.
